Went there on a Sat. morning only to be overall disappointed.
The good: portion sizes were very generous.
The bad: entering the building in the winter is from the back and you WALK THRU THE KITCHEN to get to seating. WHAT??? Having a hard time comprehending that this is even ok with the Board of Health, which it apparently is, but geez!! We were seated right away but horrible service that morning and the huge, delicious-looking cinnamon roll turned out to be tough and doughy, like it had been there a couple of days already..
Average: chicken salad.
Not sure if I"d bother to go back.

If you want a quick, cheap lunch in Danville, then head to the Dairy Queen and ask for the lunch combo that has a chili cheese dog, Lay's chips and a medium milkshake. Strawberry is my personal favorite. As of Sept 1, 2015, that particular combo costs $6.25. This place is not a full fledged Dairy Queen with burgers etc, but has all the ice cream treats you expect and a limited number of lunch type items. The staff is really great which makes for a nice experience. There is no seating so either grab and go or perch on the short, stone wall on the west side of the place. One of life's simple pleasures!

Courthouse Grounds Coffee Shop & Bakery

First time visit because we wanted to try a non-chain restaurant. So, Saturday morning, we walked through the front door and waited several minutes for someone to acknowledge us. We were to seat ourselves, which we did. The dining area is very small and you are not able to move your chair away from the table without hitting another chair or diner. We waited more than 5 minutes for someone to come to our table with menus. However, when the waitress did finally arrive, she asked what we wanted and we hadn't even been given menus. We also had to ask for silverware. It appeared the staff of 4 which included the cook were very busy talking personal business instead of waiting on the customers. How unfortunate as the food, once received, was excellent!

If your reason to go to a restaurant is to see pictures from a TV show, then go. If your reason is good food, try another place. They have mashed potatoes and other food 'like mother used to make' if your mom never seasoned anything. Bland.

A buddy and I stopped here for dinner. The restaurant wasn't busy on a Monday night. The waitress was attentive and friendly. There are several big screens in the room for watching sports.

We each ordered a burger which comes with a choice of side - fries, slaw, mac & cheese, etc.

The burger was as ordered and quite tasty; the side of slaw was a very small serving. Their burgers are $12 - $15 depending on toppings. In my opinion, about $4 or $5 more than what seems to be a fair deal for a medium-size burger.

I didn't have a chance to sample any of the tap beers and the restaurant has a full bar.

We absolutely love this place. We love their soups, selection changes daily, and salads. The baked treats are really good too. It's a very relaxed atmosphere. The sandwiches and salads are not premade, so it might take a few minutes to get your food. Be patient, it's worth it.

Lots of choices for Mexican food and this place is top notch! Good food and selection, very vibrant and colorful dining room and fair pricing make this place a must try. Not on the "main drag" but easy to find and lots of locals visit often I'm told.

Had made reservations for our son's and husband's birthdays. A little disappointed in that they messed up
an order, and was not as on the ball as we thought they should be for the tip that was placed upon our bill.
Guess the bug found in my salad was a little unsettling.

Stopped in for lunch with a friend. We seated ourselves and were greeted right away by a waitress asking if we would like drinks. The menu has sandwiches, pizzas, and a page with lunch specials.

We had the lunch special that included a sandwich or pizza and an unlimited salad bar. There are other options with this special. The drink was also included. I had a stromboli which was pretty good and the salad bar. The salad bar was very good and has pasta salad along with the greens. Lots of toppings to put on the salad and a variety of dressings.

Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and there is a sit down bar as well as tables.

All for only $7.00. A great deal.
