Very good food , cooked with care and fresh ingredients . Owner a Belgian professional cook, very nice and customer oriented. Is the only restaurant in that very small town of Dahlem. Terrace on the top a bit small and at the back but nice if you don't want to sit inside. Good price for value.

While staying in a great house at Ferienpark Kronenburger See we have had 4 evenings of great dinners at the restaurant. Very good value for money, the Eifel Forelle was my personal favorite. Service is very good and depending on the day, eg Monday eveniong or Thursday evening a reservation avoids disappointments

Man darf zuversichtlich sein, dass es mit der Gastronomie auf der Binz bergauf geht. Es gibt einen neuen Pächter und die Saison geht bald los. Ich war zufällig Ostern dort und konnte es testen. Kleine Karte, gute Qualität. Ich hatte ein Jägerschnitzel, das war richtig gut. Die WCs sind renoviert, alles wirkt hell und sauber. Wenn dann im sommer noch Flugbetrieb ist und die Terasse offen ist, dann ist die Binz ein Ausflug wert!

Ugly interior. The menu was very standard with nothing delicious on it. Ordered seasonal food but it was quite bland yet pricey for what it was. Kids meal was defrosted fish fingers, probably from the local discounter. Didn't feel welcome.

This restaurant has some of the best food for miles around: fresh and authentic, excellent pizza, good salads and perfectly cooked fish and meat. Homemade desserts are also brilliant, as is the ice cream. Very, very good coffee, too.
The ingredients are consistently of very high quality. The wait staff are lovely, very attentive and kind, couldn't ask for better service. Highly recommended!

Durch Zufall wurde ich Gast in diesem Imbiss, deren Mitarbeiter freundlich und schnell sind!
Alles war frisch und schmeckte gut & typisch, einfach lecker. ;-)
Die Preise sind moderat und man findet dort auch Sitzplätze vor.
Gerne wieder, wenn ich in der Gegend bin! :-)

We visited the Restaurant Altes Zollhaus in September last year and were very positively surprised.
We had an excellent dinner with local specialities at surprisingly moderate prices.
Everywhere you look, you get the feeling that this is a well-run operation, with the proprietor regularly checking in on us while serving us a selection of fresh, well-presented local foods.
On entering, the place has a slightly old-fashioned feel, with a bar on the right, but the dining room is great, with a nice veranda to sit outside, as well as whole corner full of toys and books for children, making this place a great stop-over for families also.
We are very much looking forward to our next visit and to stopping over at this hidden gem.

Diesmal war ich mit dem Fahrrad in Bleckede und hatte im Café "Zeittraum" eine Käsequiche mit Salat und eine Bio-Apfelschorle. Die Quiche war am Rand etwas zäh, fühlte sich nicht so ganz frisch an, aber trotzdem lecker. Toll finde ich das Büchertauschregal. Eine wirklich bunte Auswahl an Büchern, wo ich immer etwas finde, was mich entweder für die Zeit dort oder sogar weiter zuhause fesselt. Und beim nächsten Mal tausche ich wieder um ...

Der Garten so einladend, ich brauchte Pause. Erst nach ein paar Minuten Suche fand ich jemand im Haus. Obwohl nicht offen war, machte man mir spontan Kaffee und brachte leckeren selbstgebackenen Kuchen. Eine schöne Pause war das.
