Nice stay in Cusco
Reviewed By Jack JWe stayed here for a couple of nights before heading off to Machu Picchu. The place is super tranquil and peaceful, which is what we were looking for. The rooms are absolutely massive but nice and warm. The staff were also super friendly. The only thing lacking is a little atmosphere. We would definitely recommend staying here.

A good location in Cusco
Reviewed By J GMy daughter and I stayed here prior to joining our trek to Machu Picchu. A comfortable room with a good view of the city. Breakfast was pleasant and plentiful with a good selection. The staff were friendly and helpful and provided a route map to walk to the Plaza des Armas. One nice touch was the provision of a furry alpaca hot water bottle each evening.

Great place for this price point
Reviewed By Anthony AThis was as advertised. Great comfy place for this price point. The staff doesn't speak English that well but we were able to communicate regardless. This is located to many museums, good local restaurants and even found a local tap house that carries many of the peru breweries beers called Cholos. Since this is in a touristy location you will get hit up to buy things. The two things i would like to note are that the hotel description says "Free" ride to and from the airport. This has changed and you need to pay 25 soles from the airport to the hotel and 20 soles from the hotel to the airport. Also this is not a coffee bar as we call them in the United States but they do have instant coffee and teas at all hours.

Llaqtapata Lodge is located in a magical place, with the most beautiful views of the most renown Inca archeological site. Here you can enjoy both the best views of this famous Inca Site and also its beautiful surrounding landscape, including Salkantay mountain, Vilcanota River, Veronica mountain and paths to Santa Teresa and Hidroelectrica. We grow our own local produce for our kitchen.

Reviewed By Bradley SThe family running Llactapata lodge were very kind and accommodating, they found me trekking in the rainy night towards Hydroelectrica and urged that I follow them back to the lodge. That turned out to be a great idea, as there is no lodging in Hydroelectrica! I was served breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all enormous portions. They also accommodate vegetarians ;) The view is easily the best I've had of the cloud forest that holds up Machu Picchu, and even in the winter this place was magical. I chose to stay there two nights. I recommend going here sooner than later as the beds and sheets are not very heavily used, and prices are still great, plus there is warm water for your shower. The son of the family toiled all evening to roast and grind coffee beans from somewhere below the hills, I was able to get some work done on the wifi connection while sipping good quality brew :) I'm very grateful, thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Nice clean hotel in Cusco
Reviewed By Sinbad_xNice hotel, 15 mins walk from Plaza de Armas . I stayed in the 5th floor and was moved from 501 to 506 on the same day when I complained about the internet connectivity, the Internet signal is slightly better in 506 but it was a nice gesture from them to move me from a double bedroom to 4 single beds room (alone) to get a better internet connection. Breakfast was good, the staff's English language was very limited but if you speak Spanish then this shouldn't be an issue.
