I'm on a quest for the area's BEST Reuben... which led me East out of Grand Forks and into Crookston to find this place called Drafts! I'm very happy for the advice given to me by other Grand Forks Reuben lovers because my Reuben was EXCELLENT! The first bite won me over! Super tasty! Even a little messy, but that didn't bother me in the least! I wanted to order another, but now I'm super curious about the rest of your menu items. We also ordered the dry rub Cajun chicken wings. These whole wings were superb as well. And your Mac & Cheese.... YEAH! I ordered that too! Super! The spiral pasta in the Mac & Cheese... Great Choice! Beers were cold and my Blood Mary (yes, I ordered that too!) was SPICY! Loved it! I also greatly appreciated that Katelyn pre-bussed our table each time she walked by.
The sign as we walked through the door said "(3-6pm) $0.50 Wings"... however, after looking at our ticket when we got home, we were charged $11.99. We are not quite sure how that worked out. You can see this on the photos I posted. (Check 1060)
(Adding a personal note to the Reuben... Yes, it was super tasty! Without a doubt, it was fantastic! I'm still looking for a place that stacks the meat on THICK... a HUGE pile of meat. The meat in Drafts' Reuben's are diced into the sauerkraut and dressing. I wouldn't hesitate to order this Reuben again, but I'm still on the quest for a New York style Reuben. If you decide to stack and pile the meat on, let me know. I might not be able to get back to Crookston fast enough.) Carry on, Drafts! Carry on! :) (April 17th 2017)

Kids like it. There really isn't many chooses in this town for ice cream. Workers always friendly. Kids like going there for evening treat during the summer.

Super coffee shop with friendly service and warm smiles to brighten your morning. Freshly brewed coffee, latte’s and cappuccino. Want a special flavor, they have it. Free WiFi. Clean, modern décor, great location. By all accounts, they have a great breakfast and lunch menu and options.

I wish I had taken a picture of this interesting dish: Molcajete Mixto. It's amazing! Steak, chicken, bacon, shrimp, all mixed in a wonderful cheese sauce served in the hot stone Molcajete with plenty of rice, beans, guacamole salad and fresh tortillas on the side, YUM! If you find yourself near Crookston Mn, I highly recommend it!
Service was very quick and friendly.
Note: This is the old El Metate location, but MUCH better food!

In town for business and there are limited choices in Crookston. I really wasn't impressed with this place. Chicken, chicken, and more chicken on the buffett. There were a couple other options, but only one choice of beef. There was too much sauce on the dishes as well.

This is the best Chinese food around!! My husband brings take out home and everytime the food gets here (30 min drive) it is still hot! Their fried rice is so flavorful! I recommend this to anyone who enjoys chinese food!

I ate lunch inside one day during noon rush. They were courteous and organized and food came out fast. Restaurant was clean and pleasant. Week or so later went through morning drive through just for coffee. Service was so good was a great way to start day.

We ate on a Friday evening, had an order for 5 customized fir vegan&vegetarians.....order was perfect,no cross contamination & tasted fantastic. Went back on Saturday for supper, another perfect meal. Service was very friendly & restaurant was spotless. 5 full tummies for less than $25.

Biggest sadness is that they delivered to our place for several years and all of a sudden we're "outside" their zone. We always tipped heavily! Their new rectangle pizza's are tasty, delivery staff was always kind, now we sometimes grab one passing through town, but they used to be a regular run to our little evening business team.

Crookston’s favorite pizza joint, Happy Joes has been turning out pizzas for 40 years. Thinking we would escape the house and left over Christmas food, we found Happy Joes to be a popular place. I think half of Crookston was in here having the famous “taco” pizza and the “nacho” pizza. The kitchen staff was working hard to keep up with the phone in orders and those who stopped by. Cheese stick pizza are also a favorite. Pizzas are made on site with good quality ingredients. Nothing fancy here—just a family friendly place that serves good pizzas each and every day. Don’t leave without getting a huge $1 scoop of ice cream—a real value and superb way to top off any meal. Thanks Happy Joe’s!!!
