We read about this place and decided to come. We did have to wait, but we planned on it, since the restaurant is always full. The staff did their best to get us seated as soon as possible, which they managed in just a few minutes. We had a steak and lasagna. The steak was okay, not the best, but good, except it tasted too much like olive oil. Lasagna was great, but it was missing the meat sauce, there was just not enough of it. Most of the lasagna was cheese, bechamel sauce and pasta. It was good despite that, I liked it. The staff was extremely nice and friendly, they made sure everything is running smoothly, they were everywhere, really active and helpful. Prices are okay, could be a bit cheaper, but not extreme. Overall, it was a really nice experience and I would definitely go back there.

Wonderful food, all incredibly fresh and beautifully cooked. They only cook what they've caught so, of course, cannot always have everything that's on their menu. It seems that a few of the more negative reviews on here are from people expecting everything, all the time. Fresh food doesn't work like that.We were told exactly what they had and chose a variety of things from that - a mixed dish. Which was just wonderful and very reasonably priced for the quality. The octopus salad was stunning and also incredibly fresh. Go here, it is very worth it.

Great location and atmosphere- great service - very busy but well managed. Food was perfect. Lovely scallops for starter, some Adriatic squid for the main with boiled potatoes, combination of grilled and fried plus a lovely bottle of Prosecco. Highly recommended:) thanks

Amazing food and great service.After an amazing dinner the staff helped us get a taxi and while waiting gave us some great local digestives. They even gave us an adres on where to buy this local delicacy. This is what you expact from a good restaurant, highly recomended!! :)

Our first night in Opatija and what a great choice to start our dining experience. We ordered spaghetti and risotto with all the meals being perfectly cooked and delicious. Portions are good and the prices are reasonable. We dined outside and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The restaurant was packed and everyone seemed to be enjoying their food. Our waiter was excellent. Yes, we waited a little while for our food but as I said, the restaurant was full so we simply enjoyed our conversation and the atmosphere. The food, when it arrived, was worth it. On our third night, we got back very late after a day trip and decided to get pizzas delivered. Our hosts ordered on our behalf from Roko and again the food was good but be aware the pizzas where HUGE!!

A truly delightful meal in a beautiful garden setting, made even more enjoyable by the attention of our host Daniel. Local cuisine beautifully prepared and presented and very reasonably priced. The mixed seafood entrees of sardines three way and seared tuna were delicious, as were the main courses of truffle risotto and aged steak with amazing plum and marmalade chutneys. Daniel's local wine recommendations were a great accompaniment to the superb food. Try the floating islands dessert - amazing!! Would we return? - in a heart beat !!

Nice foods with pleasant waiters. For dinner you usually have to wait around 10-15 minutes as the place is quite popular. The prices are not so high, you can have seafoods around 80-120kn.

Amazing location, beautiful food, great service but lacking in some areas, very impressive selection of olive oils. We were impressed of the friendly people we meet here. The food was very good, we had calamari rings and pizza. Everything was tasteful. Before the order we got something to prepare our stomach, it was delicious. After we finished we received on the house some very tasteful home made drinks. The atmosphere is very cozy, we enjoyed it a lot.
