We were recommended this restaurant from a friend who had recently visited and we couldn't fault a thing.We chose a table outside and were offered a blanket. Service was efficient and friendly. I enjoyed a battered shrimp with salad dish and my husband had the Hill Billy Steak which he almost struggled to finish. We found room for dessert which they kindly served on a board in the middle of the table so we could share. Prices are on a par with the UK. Worth a visit for sure!

Cozy restaurant away from the main square. Delicious food but the star attraction is their seafood platter for 2. Very generous servings of whole fish, prawns, squid, scamp mussels and clams all cooked simply but beautifully. Staff were friendly and service was good.

Went here twice as was nice and close to our hotel. Food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. We were just disappointed that on either occasion were there any dessert. Would go back bra size the starter and main were great, it would just have been nice to finish it off with a sweet.

This is first time I am chosing to discribe a restaurant with word perfectoon.First at all, they show in many years eager, Kmowlege, bravnes and love for chosing to go in a world of cusin.Excelent representativs of Mediteranian cousin. Food is from locals, ekological, and real. But, Chef is local, man who brings best of all what is served. Food is Grilled on real wood, meat or fish have a tender taste wih aroma of smoke from grill.Excelemt vin card. Sun going down in Adriatic, with gold flames looks spectacular from dining teras.So simple, but so perfect.

Excellent wines by the glass here. Especially whites - Posip Intrada Krajancic 2018 & Malvazia Fakin 2018. Reds - Cuvee Jakob 2017 & Red Cuvee Vostinic-Klasnic 2016. We had Tapas dishes - Bruschetta & Sliders. They no longer sell foreign wines, except Champagne & Prosecco. Still with so many great Croatian wines why bother Highly recommended.

Bokun is a clear standout from the restaurants on Tucepi beachfront all competing for business. Iâve been coming here for 5 years now in the summer and their professionalism and outstanding food and service is so welcoming and surpasses all my expectations. They offer a refreshing choice compared to other restaurants which all seem to have identical menus. Their menu choice is Croatian with a mixture of other Mediterranean choices. For travellers that donât have breakfast included with their accommodation Bokun is a clear cut winner with their English breakfast, omelettes or fresh croissants with the best cappuccino on offer all this while enjoying the Sea views while your kids happily swim in the water within view. Lunch offers of juicy burgers and Croatian street food and dinner of gorgeous fresh seafood with superb wines whilst watching the sunset over the water view. Just heaven

In general, a holiday in Croatia should include lots of fish and seafood. But a visit at Ranc should include MEAT!Ranc has meat of fabulous standards. Just ask to see their glassdoor fridge with the delious, aged beef. Wow! And afterwards, the grill wizards do magic to the meat.I havenât had a steak of this quality and precise cooking since Mendoza, Argentina 15 years ago. My order was âramsteak, medium rareâ - and it hit bullseye. Price: HKR 150.My wife had lamb chops; delicious meat, grilled to perfection.First we had a tartare (same good meat, but raw) and an octopus salad (not bad, but not the best i Croatia this far).Out waiter offered very good advice on meat and wines and had an incredible level of energy. Does he and he collegues take speed?Oh, I forgot to mention that Ranc is the most cozy and somewhat intimate restaurant. You sit under olive trees, and each table in the huge restaurant feels like an isolated island. Brillant design.Remember to make a reservation!

I booked Jeny for a special dinner out based on Tripadvisor reviews and I have to say Iâm very glad I did. Milenko the restaurant manager was very quick to respond on email and made booking very easy and even arranged a taxi for us. The tasting menu was absolutely delicious - every course and wine flawless! The location is beautiful up in the hills with a view over the bay. Mosquitos are out in force in the early evening (we arrived 7.15) and they even saved us with some Autan spray! Iâd recommend Jeny highly. Thank you Milenko and team x

Dined there last night, great location, overlooking the sea, attitude of staff, helpful, smiling faces, and knowledgable ...The food probably the best in Podgora, and we have tried 5 others.Had the spaghetti with prawns and salmon, excellent.Partner had chicken skewer with feta salad.Go trust me u will enjoy, a very varied menu.In fact we are going again tonight
