We were visiting someone who lives in Crete, and this was their preferred place to go. Food was good, service excellent and the location perfect. Its a great place for relaxation or if you have a family of young ones (as we did), perfect so they can play on beach, or in ocean while adults conversed.

Second holiday to Almyrida this year and we always visit Seanema as the food and service is excellent. Some evenings they have a live band on which was very entertaining. Great place to eat and have fun, whether you are a couple, family or group of friends.

The tavern DIMITRIS is operating since 1984 near the first beach entering Almirida .In 2008 we were moved few meters further on the main Almirida's road in a larger space with spacious parking lot. Our cuisine preserves the tradition offering to our guest

Our first visit to this restaurant on our many trips to the area. There were seven of us and we had a table outside, which was great, right next to the beach, a lovely setting. We all had something different and the food was pretty good. Unfortunately the service was poor, and the waiter seemed to have his favorite tables, which he attended to at our expense. Finished plates were left unattended for over 20 mins, and he walked past us many times. In the end we had to call someone else over. We're happy to sit, chat and relax, but this was a bit much. You would have thought they'd make more effort for a larger table. Shame, as it is a great setting and good food, but there are a lot of restaurants in Almyrida and the quality of servce here would lead us elsewhere in future.

On top of the Almyrida residence Hotel sits a piece of heaven.The views alone are worth the visit. From here you can see the whole of the bay right across to Chania.Catch the sunset here, it is breathtaking, while enjoying a top quality restaurant meal or just a drink. Cocktail Happy hour is from 6-8 PM every night.They serve the best steaks in the area and go out of their way to make your visit memorable. My wife is vegetarian and didnât like the food offered, so the Executive Chef made her a delicious risotto.Nothing is too much trouble for the excellent staff including Dimitris, Andenya(apologies for the spelling) and Zygos.Oh and donât forget the roof top Infinity Pool.A must visit if you are staying anywhere in the Chania region.Thank you all again.Margaret and Kim

Great restaurant right on the beachfront overlooking the sea, with a large tree growing in the middle of the restaurant. We had prawn bruschetta and mushrooms with Parmesan for starter and shared a paella for main course. Everything was lovely. The service was good too. Would recommend based on our visit.

Came here a few times and always excellent. Fresh and tasty food. Service fabulous every time. All staff friendly and accommodating especially the young guy with a great sense of humour! Worth booking as itâs always pretty full in the evenings. They canât do enough for you. Thanks!

We ate here twice during our stay in Almyrida. My husband had the fish platter and I had fillet steak on our first visit and both were tasty and impressive, so much so that we returned and ordered the fish platter for both of us. So much choice and cooked to perfection and a lovely complimentary panacotta and strawberry daiquiri to end the meal. If you are a seafood fan then the platter is a must!

The food was absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous cheese pies moussaka and souvlaki. Sadly on both times we visited we were completely ignored. Everyone around us received their bills and complimentary desserts but not us - we left the second time without our desserts. Felt a little bit invisible. It was the worst service we had all holiday which was a shame as everyone we spoke to recommended this place. It must have been us. (And we are so nice and friendly)
