Gorgeous setting, incredibly romantic and atmospheric, the water is surrounding the Terrace as the gentle sea breeze brings all those magical smells. The food is absolutely amazing, the waiters are kind, smiling and helpful, for a special occasion it is just beyond perfect!!

It's hard to reach this place on the Cres island, but it's worth a visit. Located in Loznati, a faraway, isolated village on the island, reachable by car (or if you have stamina on a bike), this restaurant offers exceptional food at really good prices. Many locals visit it regularly: at least, this is what your correspondent saw at lunch time.
The waiters were amazing, made you feel like really at home. The Terrace is absolutely stunning, surrounded by fig trees and vegetation: you will have a really great time here.
Totally recommended.

Located in the old town, the Buon Gusto offers a daily different local menue (in addition also other typical Croatian dishes). We had a kind of Octopus goulash and roasted lamb, both excellent. Also excellent the dessert cake.
We can recommend this restaurant as alternative to the typical Mediterranean kitchen servered at the harbour restaurants. Sitting outside in the middle of the old town houses is as charming than being inside.
We will certainly come back on our next trip to Cres

Another restaurant with huge open garden, protected with plastic roof and sides. Furniture is very simple, without some nice chairs. Food is different. It is really good. This is a seafood restaurant and before the main season they have fresh and very tasteful food. Crabs, calamari and fish are best choice for you. I don’t know how they serve all guests during summer season when too many tables are on the open garden. Owner and other waiters were kind and helpful on a warm May night.

Lovely little treat today. Everthing we bought was nice and fresh and very reasonably priced. When in Cres why not treat yourself.

Loved Valun and Ma malu is right on the sea, kind staff and amazing black squid risotto and grilled fish. Will def go back when in Cres next time

Hibernicia is a small local inn in picturesque village Lubenice. You need small car to go to the village. Narrow road is not good for bigger cars and buses. You have five minutes’ walk from the parking (parking fee during the summer). Hibernicia is partly small restaurant and partly small museum about sheep breeding. They offer basic food and drinks in fine atmosphere – don’t expect too much in this remote village. This is the only restaurant in the village. They have just another place with food and drinks in the village. It is a small bar near the parking.

Visited with a family of six and very much enjoyed the food. We had a variety of dishes - pizza, risottos and goulash, all of which were fantastic. You could taste the freshness of the ingredients! Our waiter was great, very friendly and helpful! Would highly recommend for a lunch or evening meal!

We found this restaurant just off the road outside the town of Cres. It is a small, rustic place with top service from the owner-chef.
We had the famous lamb which practically fell like butter from the bones, served with fried potatoes. The owner also offered us free liqueurs after our meal, and gave us good advice on the best Beaches on the island. Highly recommended.

This place, even if not on the best location in town, makes you forget about that little thing and makes you enjoy food on high level...! Solid, friendly service, ages of tradition, absolutely awesome fish and scampis...lobster and even meat food all is high quality. For me one of the best places to eat in town.
If I'm in Cres in summer - a visit at Belona is a must....! X
