Citron is a real gem with an innovative, delicious menu in a very comfortable, swanky bistro-like setting. It's one of the few air/con'd restaurants in Coco and that is a real plus at times. Our food was wonderful - beef carpaccio, seared ahi tuna, seafood pasta, panna cotta for dessert. The menu is varied and flavorful and the service is excellent. Overall, excellent experience & value - very solid across the board!

We walked up and had their "all day happy hour" (2 for 1 drinks) and dinner while watching the sunset on the beach. The staff was wonderful and food and drinks, delicious. They had live music as well. Highly recommend.

The menu is very inventive and ingredients are obviously fresh. Service is excellent and friendly and the ambience is casual Costa Rica cool - open air dining room and bar with nice natural wood everywhere.Prices are a litle high.Thank you for sharing your review. During a visit to Playa Conchal, arose the desire to feel connected to the surrounding neighborhood, so why experience the area through one of its restaurants?After deciding to arrive at Ander's Restaurant, it was immediately clear that excellent service would definitely be the standard for the rest of the night. Javier, our very attentive host, provided a warm and sincere welcome, and proceeded to inquire about any food restrictions and preferences, as well as consulted with Chef Ander regarding some options (not on the menu) to cater to a vegetarian's regimen. By surprise, both were happy to offer a few different plates that delivered on every detail.In relatively short order, arrived the most delicious, well prepared and nicely presented meals one could find in Brasilito. Nice texture, fresh ingredients, savory taste - perfect way to end the day.Add to that the authentic beach vibe, clean and orderly tables (glasses, tableware and tablecloths) and more than accesible price - for me that's an EASY five out of five "Excellent rating"!

Move all the way here after reading about this place in Fodors and on TripAdvisor. Their website does not mention anything about being closed. But when we got here, it look like the place had been locked up tight for quite some time. Maybe they are closed and rainy season, I donât know. But at least put up some signage, at least put on your website, at least do something to let people know. We drove around trying to figure out if there was an alternate entrance we were just missing something, but nothing. Eyal, the host, was a charming person, full of stories and information. We opted for the menu where he just keeps bringing the food which cost $39 each. The food was really good and I mean really good. The tuna was amazing, the filet mignon was really nice, it was all great. Highly recommended

Green Papaya was my favorite place I ate in Tamarindo. Aside from being decorated SO boho-chic with an open air dining room and swings for chairs, the food was also very delicious. I always recommend Green Papaya when I have friends traveling to Tamarindo. It's a bit off the main streets but in very close proximity (walking distance) to all the other bars and restaurants.

Our group of 15 people showed up at Johann shortly after they opened for the day. The staff was so friendly and the food was delicious. Highly recommend for a well priced lunch in Coco. The size of our group did not alter their ability to quickly make the meals and drinks. We were very satisfied! Thanks Johanns!

What a gem right outside the gates of hacienda pinilla. So far have eaten here twice during our ten day stay. First time everyone got fish and they ran out right at my order (sigh) so we came back a second time. Everything is awesome on the menu and they even made me a special fish plate as requested a salad and fish. Considering the prices inside the gates this place is worth the five minute trek. This was an incredible experience! Not only do you get a unique and delicious meal made in front of you while you relax, Noam also provides excellent conversation. Take the time to appreciate both the fine dining (each dish with a story and made from local ingredients, including from Noamâs own garden), but also Noamâs life story in general. You wonât regret it!Thank you Kate for being my first dinner of the low season: the two of you are so loving, and kind and fun. I had such a wonderful evening.
