We stopped in and found the restaurant closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but we made a point of going on Wednesday. I'm glad we had perseverance; it was worth the trip.

It was very quiet around 5:30, but got busier as the night went on. We ordered a couple of drinks at the bar, then decided to try a few of the appetizers instead of a full meal.

I had the largest shrimp cocktail I've ever seen (5 huge tiger prawns), and it was delicious, almost a meal in itself. I also ordered the stuffed Hungarian peppers. It was the best stuffed peppers I've ever had, and I've had a few.

My friend ordered the bacon wrapped scallops, and again they were huge. He said they were great. He also did the BBQ quail and enjoyed that as well.

They have to have a great chef back there; I would urge you to give them a try if you're in the area.

Love Hannah Marie's for small business meet-ups and just casual coffee drinking! Their Power Breakfast is my favorite (many aren't aware that there is an option if you don't want to indulge in all the sugar-filled goodness available... It's worth your while!)

Warehouse Steak N' Stein

We were shocked by the BBQ Ribs and the Spaghetti. Both were absolutely excellent. We were a party of 8 and they did forgot out reservation even though I had verified it earlier. They had remove people already seated to accommodate us. Food was brought out staggered and 3 of the 8 got their meals late. Forgot a baked potato so they brought it out later and it was not done and had to be replaced. Forgot to provide the salads for 2 of the meals and brought them out after the 2 had finished their meals. The Ribs and Spaghetti were absolutely GREAT but the service was terrible. It also took us over and hour, 70 minutes, to begin getting our food and another 15 minutes for all of it to arrive. It's a shame the service was so bad because it was some of the best BBQ Ribs I ever had.

English Ivy Restaurant

Matt and I ate here today with his Mom and sister, first time for all of us. The restaurant is in a lovely Victorian era home, is very well laid out and quite comfortable. Our waitress was quick, efficient, and very friendly. The menu is limited, but everything is house made and delectable. Matt and I had the special, a roast beef wrap with havarti cheese and spinach. Susan had the chicken salad sandwich on house made bread. Allison had a hamburger. I also had a cup of the bean and ham soup, while Susan had the cheddar-broccoli soup, and Matt the crab soup. Everything was actually very nice. The soups were subtle, the sandwiches were all perfectly made and very tasty. And we all had dessert, two different kinds of cheesecake and a slice of peach pie. Again, everything is made right there, the cheesecakes were extraordinary and the pie was superb.

Well this place was very new to me. First time there, and I thought the buffet for lunch was really quite good. The salad bar was really fresh and clean, and the pizza, subs, cheese sticks, and everything else was also very freshly prepared and all tasted great. It's just a typical atmosphere for pizza, nothing fancy but nice none the less. I certainly wouldn't mind going back.

Yucatan Restaurant

Yucatan has been at this location for a decade or more; this spot has been a restaurant for decades--my mother ate at the old place, Andy's, when she worked across the street at Novelty advertising in the early 40's--as did I. Amazingly, there're now at least two places to get Mexican/Latin food in the "Black Bear Town." Yucatan is an established and reliable place where you see generational families dining with visiting relatives as before. It is well-prepared food fixed and served by Latinos/Latinas who know what they are doing--and is a real "plus" in a county seat town at the northern edge of Appalachia. Recommended for special occasions and everyday dining.

Pretty good menu selection. My Ribeye steak was cooked perfectly medium rare, with dusted fries. Coleslaw was good. Yingling pints on tap for about $2.50. Bartender was kind enough to surf channels and find the Olympics before primetime. This place is two blocks from the Coshocton Inn & Suites - easy walk. I saw some negative reviews before going but those people must be nuts. Someone reviewed that the beer was pricey - if you think so then try the Walmart up the road for BudLight and drink in your room like a loser.

We were really ready for breakfast when we pulled in on a late Sunday morning. The restaurant wasn't even half full, but it took almost 2 hours for 6 of us to get breakfast and the orders didn't come out together. Other then the continuing hot coffee, the meal was a bust. Too bad as there are few places for breakfast.
