Hearty food, good service, friendly atmosphere, not expensive - brilliant! A restaurant well worthy trying. Try the local liqueurs!!

We visited Corte for the first time and went to the U Museu for Dinner. We sat outside on the Terrace, which offers you a great view. When we arrived at around 7.30pm the restaurant, there were only three tables occupied but after half an hour nearly the whole place was crowded.
The Food was very good and for the first time while my stay in Corsica at the Menu you found vegetarian meals, which were clearly marked. I got the vegetarian burger with fries, which was really good.
The waiter were really nice, maybe a little bit overwhelmed, but always friendly. I can definitely recommend this place.

While staying in the Hotel Jardins de la Glacière, we went for dinner at the Auberge de la Restonica. We had a table on the Terrace nearby the pool, but there are also tables available near the Restonica river.
The food was very good, but more expensive than average in Corsica. I ordered the fish of the day: Langoustines Corses snackées, riz blanc, persillade, toast de tapenade à la tomate confit. Very good! I also had a taste of the filet Restonica, my boyfriend ordered. The meat was perfectly cooked en very tender. Lovely!
As a dessert I had some icecream while my boyfriend enjoyed a glass of limoncello. Both were excellent.
Only one minor issue: we had to wait very long before we could pay the bill.

Valentinu was consistently packed with people, so we gave it a try one night. My husband and I each ordered a pizza. Both were exceptional. I have never tasted better caramelized onions. They were perfection! Our hotel host let us know each summer they bring in a chef from Italy. He made every pizza from scratch. We went back for pasta one night; perfectly cooked and brilliant flavors.

We had dinner because of the good reviews but were disappointed by the service. The lady with the short hair was friendly but the young girl with the blond/white hair was not. They did not pay attention if you wanted to pay in the end. My Caesar salad was good. My boyfriend ordered the brochette but of the few pieces 2 of them were all fat and could not be eaten. The icecream was not good. The environment was nice but a real pity of the bad service of the young girl. Nice setting.
I would recommend the place for pizza's and salads.

The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere its busy and fast moving with quick service. The food is innovative and attractively presented we especially enjoyed their signature dish, a wooden platter covered with local cheese, fruit, charcuterie, omelette, pate, salad and a sausage speared into bread a complete and enjoyable meal, accompanied by the house Rosé, perfect for a warm summer evening.
We did not notice the smoking problem other reviewers commented on.

Saturday lunch - the place was packed with locals. Very nice pasta. Entrecote was not soft enough. Generous portions. In general, a good place, with wide choice of dishes of different flavours and friendly service. Recommended.

This restaurant is located at the beginning of a steep hill in Corte and looks out on a Fountain. Especially at night the environment is nicely lit and offers a romantic dinner spot. The food is simple but well prepared. You have a good choice of burgers and the local Corsican specialties. Would recommend the duck with red fruit-sauce.

Enjoyed "U Campanile" so much we went back for a second evening to enjoy to the wonderful food.
The restaurant is on a delightful small square (Place de l'eglise) in front the church with a high campanile giving the restaurant its name.
If you sit in the covered patio on a warm summer evening you can enjoy your meal watching the world go by at a slow Corsican pace. Both evenings we had the fixed price menu which offered a good choice we enjoyed the brown trout also the cannelloni we were served food that had been prepared with care using the best ingredients. Don't miss the "flan" a Corsican speciality rather like a cheese cake. Staff are both friendly and helpful and provided excellent service. Next time we visit Corte we will certainly be going back.

Traditional Corsican restaurant located at the foot of the Citadel, in the most panoramic view of Corte. Shady and quiet of the fact that the cars can park in the car park of the Citadel, located 200m from the restaurant.
Beautiful outdoor/indoor setting. The menu was very nice; both seafood and Charolais, among many. The fish soup was fantastic. The serving size was ample. The only this prettier than the setting were the waitresses (Is my wife Reading this?). Corte is sort of bland, but this section, near the museum and the fortress, is very pleasant.
