I went there one evening with friends. The food is expensive but good. The cocktails were really bad, and we paid 9 dollar for each of them !! Really crazy, don't try it.. (they put salt in the caipirinha ...). The breakfast is amazing !hello thank you we closed the restaurant now after it was rent from Perla real today and i will reopen it myself again on february 10th under the owner restaurant gerald saludos gerald

The food is let me tell you good at dinner bad at breakfast, the staff not so much. We went in the morning to have breakfast awful, the service was even worst, your choice of eggs, eggs, or eggs!' At nite the food was really nice and the staff waas friendly

We had lunch here. I don't think there was a choice but as we don't speak Spanish and they dnt speak English we went with what the locals were eating. It turned out to be meatballs, rice, lentils and a bit of salad and it was lovely. There were 4 of us. We had 2 beers and 2 soft drinks. The bill was $28.

This is a unique experience. No menu, the chef explains what is on the menu that day due to the fact of ingredients available. It is a small island everything shipped in sometimes ingredients not available. It is comfortable and efficient. We had a beautiful tasty salad with a vegetarian pizza, which was huge for 2 people. Delicious coffee. Only open 7 to 11 so get there early. Would highly recommend this unique and delicious experience.

The fish was excellent and very reasonable for Contadoro. Two big whole fish dishes for 24 US. These were bigger and better than the ones we had at the restaurants just outside the real fish market in Panama City which were phenomenal. Follow the directions that someone has posted on TA - there are 3 fish signs that you willing see on the street : one says SUPER Centro, second says Restaurante, and the 3rd says Hostal Bar. It's right across the street from Air Panama.
There is no written menu- use your Google translate to ask what's for dinner or lunch. We will be back tomorrow!!!

Our "brunch bunch" has tried many over the years, mostly restaurants in hotels. Many have been displaced over time as better offerings have come along-"better" meaning a larger/more varied offering of very fresh, well-prepared, and tasty fare; great service provided by smiling , courteous waitstaff; no "stinginess" on beverage pours; and high value coefficient. Manabi is now #1 in our opinion. In addition to meeting/exceeding all our dining criteria, there is soft-live guitar music and comfortable Seating in a space divided into open "rooms". Bottom line: It's buffet food at order-off-a-menu quality. Personal favorites were the various ceviches, creamed spinach, camarones and langostinos, dim sum, and a wonderful oriental "paella" made with pici noodles (like udon noodles), seafoods and fresh vegetables. The bread table is museum-worthy as is the room dedicated to desserts (postres). The crepe-maker is masterful. I'm not much of a dessert person, but the display rivals any European pastry shop and everything I sampled was luscious. My only criticism is that their fresh fruit selection could be more robust.

This spot is quite new, but for me, its yet the best restaurant on the island. Fresh food with a creative touch, everyday different, but always very tasty! The service was always cordial, the atmosphere familiar, prizes are reasonable. Good luck for the future.

We visited them first because we had just arrived on Contadora and were starving. The chef, who spoke English, was helpful and kind.. He made me breakfast and Mar lunch. We were the only customers. The weekend had been busy but they were nice and accommodating...something consistent in Panama
