Fabulous local Mexican restaurant. Great food freshly prepared, and a truly Mexican crowd.

Authentic high quality homestyle Mexican food. Not a lot of phony "ambience"" but clean unpretentious and family friendly. The food is among the very best I've had anywhere north of the border. We have become regulars and just love it. The prices for this quality make it bargain of a hidden gem. Sunday Carnitas and chile rellenos are among our favorites.

While no one is from Spain! ( I asked ) they do have a fabulous Flamenco show once a month! Now the Osso Bucco! Is very good with a twist it has Spanish rice without the saffron...the color is there but not the flavor I suggest they are using Achiote forgive the spelling ...but the true flavor should have saffron! From Spain...The twist is sweet plantain not used in Spain but was a creative accent in the dish...The shrimp ajillo! Is very tasty and they use nice big shrimp! There are a few Italian dishes on the menu that going by us looked pretty good..The food is fresh excellent and a bargain..they have empanadas as well...Give cafe madrid a try ...you will like it !

We wandered into this restaurant after a late movie and were more than pleasantly surprised. The menu was huge, filled with mostly latin cuisine, with some authentic Peruvian dishes as well as Latin sushi and sashimi. Service was excellent and the dishes were very attractively presented. Be careful not to over order, as the appetizers are the size of entrees.

Tacos Mexico

Sweet small authentic Mexican restaurant in little strip mall. Burrito primavera was filled with veggies and topped with a cheese sauce and laid in a tomatillo sauce- delish! Enchiladas verses -4 enchiladas with cheese, chicken and sauce over all filling and good. The tacos manzanilla - 3 shrimp taco with a spicy coleslaw in corn tortillas. Would have liked the tacos a little warmer but they were very tasty. Guacamole is very good. We would definitely return.

From the outside, this isn’t an impressive restaurant. Inside it is very fresh and comfortable. The staff is delightful and the menu, although not extensive, has all the favourites. Sometimes menu isn’t better. We enjoyed the pork tacos and the tamales. Portions were great and prices were reasonable. I can understand why it is highly rated.

Valencia Luncheria

Expect the unexpected from Michael Young, the owner of Valencia Luncheria as has conquered many different styles of food without compromise. Young’s interest in cooking developed at an early age as every Sunday he would watch and study his father, a chef in a French restaurant, cook a meal for his family. My friend and I went around 12:30 pm and were surprised to see how small it looked, but once inside, it looked roomy and fun! Despite a crowd, we were seated at a table right away. The atmosphere of the place was exciting and lively. There was catchy music playing in the background as waiters and waitresses milled around trying to serve as many tables as possible. The food is inspired Latin American. The menu was extensive, making it hard to choose which item we wanted. As an appetizer we started off with a helping of chips and guacamole. The chips were good, and despite being mushy the guacamole was solid. In addition, we also got one beef arepa and empanadas which were delicious. I suggest you share a plate with someone because the portion sizes are hefty and filling. The prices are very reasonable offering great value for the food. I am recommending Valenicia as a great place to go if hungry and you are looking to spare your wallet some major damage.
