A Stamford restaurant that has been around for some time and for a good reason - excellent seafood. The place remains fairly loud as there doesnât appear to be anything to absorb the noise. Good service. Octopus appetizer excellent. A variety of seafood that can be elected to be blackened, grilled or pan seared. Also select from a variety of sauces for the fish. Select a starch or vegetable to accompany. Fish done perfectly. Good selection of wine. Full bar. If in the mood for seafood there isnât a spot in Connecticut that does it better.

We were in the area for another event and stopped here based on TripAdvisor reviews. So glad that we did!! Pleasant waitstaff, delicious food, interesting menu, good sized portions, not over priced, excellent quality. An overall enjoyable experience. The only downside is not near our home. If we lived closer, weâd go here all the time. We would definitely go back!

I hate to give out poor ratings but I think they may deserve it. We moved down the street 2 weeks ago. Twice we got dressed and wandered over to try it out. Both times we did not have a reservation. Both times we were met with an unfriendly, hostess who basically sent us away. We won't give them another shot. Too bad because it's so close. I suggest you train your employees to be friendlier and kinder and at least 'try' to accommodate walk ins.

We come here at least once a year by boat. Generally have to fight for parking. This year 100 degree day. Drove right into space. Couldnât sit at bar like we usually do. Too hot! So went inside. For appetizers we ordered crab balls. Tasty! One of the entree specials was Grilled Halibut Florentine with a side of cheese mashed potatoes. Delicious! Lobster roll is a favorite dish here. Highly recommend. Hi Paul, thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed dining with us this year, even with the brutal heat we've been having this week. We truly appreciate the kind words, and hope to see you again soon!

This is as authentic as it gets! You will leave smelling like fried food but it is worth it. The fish is perfectly fried and the chips are tasty. Take a little trip to England right here in Stamford. Yum!
