Usually if I find a place as amazing looking as The White Turkey it's behind rope in a museum.
For diners and drive in fans the look of this place is off the charts.
Burgers were incredible, the Turkey was a treat and the root beer float has to be seen to be believed.
If you're a fan of diners or drive ins make the side trip, it's worth it.

Ice creams flavors are ever changing. We had a wonderful cherry and a very good peppermint patty ice cream. Lots to choose from and everything has always been great. They will make sundaes..shakes....etc also. There is always something different to try. ...and they will let you sample before ordering... Come soon as they will be closing for the winter to reopen on April 1. Beautiful clean and cool interior to enjoy on the hot days.

Started with the sausage fondue?!? Frankly, if I could have snuck back, I'd have ordered one to go and shared it with nobody. For the main course, a petite filet, bow tie pasta and langostinos sautéed in butter. This was an amazing dinner!

The Dairy Queen owners make this place special. They support all the local events and even bring ice cream to the street parties in down town Conneaut. You like to support a business that treats the community so well. The items they sell taste good. You can eat inside or get it at the drive through. The place is always busy, so that tells you the food is good.

This was our first time at this wonderful place. The husband had two meats, brisket and pulled pork. They were served in containers, generous portions. It came with two sides, he asked for coleslaw (not the usual dinky portion that most places give), and fries. I had the barbeque half chicken dinner (two legs), which was great. All of our meats were flavorful, juicy, and tasty. I had onion rings (they do not separate into a mess when you eat them), and macaroni salad. We each got a generous piece of cornbread with honey butter. The server (sorry I did not catch her name, but she was wonderful!), the food, spectacular. The prices were very reasonable. We will be back

Every year the group we vacation with gets JD Pizza. It's pricey, but ok. The pizza isn't my favorite but it is good. I like the Stromboli, but be aware--the Stromboli only comes with cheese--you need to lay for each additional filling choice. $1.50+ per choice. I got mushrooms and that's it this year inside mine. It was good. Also huge.

The bagels at JT's are worth a stop into Conneaut. They're located in a small building right on State Route 20 on the east end of Conneaut. A quick detour off of I-90 from Exit 3 in PA(going west) or Exit 241 in OH (going east). There are plenty of flavors to choose from. The bagels have a good crunch on the outside and are chewy inside. There are handmade cream cheese choices available. They offer a few breakfast sandwiches on your choice of bagel as well as a few lunch sandwich options. The bagels are fresh and flavorful. Service is friendly and fast. Tables are available if you want to eat in. Being so close to Lake Erie, it would be great to take a few bagels and beverages over to Conneaut Township Park and enjoy the views of Lake Erie while savoring the delicious bagels!

Good burgers, nice glass of wine also. Fries need to be improved. Key Lime pie needs some work also. New place just opened. Will give it time to improve.
