Just on the corner near 24th and main, it's the last left you can make before the median and boy was it worth it!!! As an Italian from N.Y. I can say that the prep of the sauce is definitely northern Italian and was delicious. The parm sandwich was very good. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. The dessert we shared was a slice of heaven split for two of the german chocolate cake and was more than enough. Perla and her family (I believe), run the restaurant and they could teach other restaurants about good service and quality food. Definitely going back to try their breakfast of eggs benedict! Highly recommend finding this place and becoming a regular. They are open for Breakfast and lunch.

When we come here, it's usually for breakfast. The restaurant is fairly small and it has a tendency to fill up, especially on Saturday. They have abbreviated hours during the weekend and are only open until 1:00 pm.The food and service are both good; they keep your coffee cup filled. My favorite item is the breakfast burrito with bacon. This is a great comfort-food spot with a down home cooking flair. Great place to go have breakfast, give it a try!

We went with a group of 8 and everyone enjoyed their lunch - everything from French toast combo to salads to chimichangas. Nicely decorated in old farm style. Music was nice and quiet enough that it was easy to sit and visit. The service was terrific and the manager even checked with us. Great place for families with children and all ages up to our group that had some in their 90s. Casual. They are able to accommodate wheelchairs and walkers.

Janie's Cafe

This restaurant is a popular place for breakfast and lunch, featuring your typical diner meal options--pancakes, eggs, sausage, burgers, reubens, patty melts, etc. The food is well cooked and the service is solid, but there's not a single healthy, garden-based option on the menu. Not just the food is retro, so is the decor: aging black vinyl booths, worn-thin blue carpet, wood-grained formica tables, and wood panelling on the back walls and trim. All the locals come in from the back, where there must be a parking lot. Many, many elderly are welcomed regulars that the staff chats with, as well as a few families. If you want a sample of non-tourist Longmont, here it is!

Had a business meeting in the area. After the meeting this place was recommended to us for lunch. I ordered fish and chips. The fish was extremely breaded and the chipd arrived cold. The other stated their meals were okay as well. Not much to highlight about the meals.

It’s a pricey breakfast/brunch but worth it. Love everything on their menu! Really too many delicious plates to list. My husband loves their andulie sausage, I love the eggs Benedict with fried trout. My kids die for the rice pancakes! And best bloody Mary’s in town!

Food is consistently good, and a trip here is more than just a luncheon stop. Cute shopping with gifts from France, Italy, etc. and a refrigerated cheese shop, where you can browse and sample latest offerings.
