This place is down a lovely little side street just off one of the many Plazas in Old Havana. The cafe itself is clean and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was lovely, prices were reasonable with good portion sizes. Definitely worth a visit, but as with many places abroad there are guys stood in the square trying to entice you into their cafe or restaurant. Just make sure you go to the right place as there are few eateries in the same street. We almost went in the wrong one.

Visited a few times during a stay in la Habana, when my husband, 22 month year old son, and I were visiting from NYC. Clean, has AC, and a wonderful selection of dishes for lunch. Very accommodating to our toddler and staff was very friendly! This place also saved the day when we were searching for a bakery that had quality desserts and cakes to take to family visits outside the city-delicious!

Cannot day enough great things about this self taught chef. With very limited resources he produces meals that can compete with any 5 star restaurant in the world. What a find!Starter was a Green eyed blonde girl which is a cornmeal based with plantain and quail eggs but the taste is heavenly. I had the lamb with a Demi glacÃ© sauce. So tender and delicious. Wife had perfectly executed shrimp. Top it off with a miniature baked Alaska. Super service. Very reasonably priced. A hidden gem.Wow! For you to remember every detail like that makes me remember why we do everything we do. We recently found some cocoa powder so we are starting again to make some chocolate ice cream. I think you tried one of our "mantecado" or cuban strawberry ice cream. So much love we put on them. I am really glad and thankful for being able to provide you with a good moment. Nice and authentic place on 1st floor, with rooftop terrace. We enjoyed the tacos with lobster, grilled shimps and fish croquettes. Nice and friendly service, starters around 10â¬, mains 20 and up. Warmly recommended
