The kids were excited that I was picking up pizza cones! We've had them elsewhere in the city, but our favorite place had closed down years ago. The idea is good, the space is tiny, the ingredients used . . . Hmmm, they left a bit to be desired. Really it was their selection of cheese. It was very sourish and overpowered everything. We all finished our cones, but I had to make my girls finish theirs. The cheese needs to be swapped out for a more pleasant tasting mozzarella!Thanks for your comment, let me tell you that I'm the owner of pizza cones since 2010, your favorite place probably was Nova Pizza, my first restaurant. And ever since we have been using the same ingredients and the same mozzarella. We closed it to provided a better location and a better service to people, Delivery began in Avenida de Las Americas and now we are closer to the main square on Nicolas Ortiz Street and we are willing to recover our costumers that used to go to the old Nova Pizza cones. I want to apologize if the cones were not what you expected and I'll talk to my mozarella provider about this inconvenient. Let me invite you to come back and taste again our products. Italian chef in sucre. As a starter we got bruchetta on the house. We ordered a homemade lasagna and a gnocchi with pesto sauce. Both were absolutely gorgeous.ABoth had a soda and paid less than 20â¬. I would definitely recommend. Unfortunately no pictures of the main dish, because of a empty phone battery

After sight-seeing in the beautiful colonial city of Sucre, we were surprised to find that only 20 minutes from the main square, lies a haven for good home-cooked food and great pizza! In a relaxing and enviromental friendly atmosphere, this is a must-stop in the village of Yotala! Crossing the suspended bridge is just the start of the fun. With weather being warmer than the city and the green counntry-side as back ground, twighlight fades and candles warm the atmosphere, ask for a drink and your day is done!

we were five and had dinner here the two days we went. customer service was good, no complaints. the pizza, we liked, as well as the neapolitan chicken breast. the calzone was full from end to end but they didn't have any sauce and it kind of made it not wanting to order it again. the carbonara would of been great with a little more taste to it

A friend from Sucre recommended this restaurant as âthe place to have a great meal.â We took his advice and the recommendation was correct. This is THE best place to have a fantastic meal in Sucre. The food was so delicious that we dined here the following night as well. The food was perfectly seasoned, the service was friendly and professional, and the atmosphere could not have been better. One of the highest recommendations that I can give PapaVero was how much better it was than Gustu in La Paz. We dined at Gustu earlier in our trip and found the food at PapaVero to be leagues ahead of Gustu.

Food was reasonably priced considering it's in the central plaza de mayo. Staff was really friendly, and it was fairly crowded when we went. Wifi solid for Bolivia. Would eat there again. Didn't get any but the desserts looked delicious. They offer upstairs table seating as well.

We came here on two separate recommendations and were not disappointed. We had been eating mainly eating street food in Bolivia so far, so it was a nice treat to go out somewhere more up market (still great value - 330bs for 3 course meal and amazing wine). The food was amazing, the wine selection fantastic. The restaurant was beautiful and the service was excellent. This up and coming restaurant will be famous in the months to come, it has lots of potential.

I really recommend this restaurant! We had a very good pizza here, that actually tasted like an italian pizza. It was delicious! The restaurant is cozy, with nice music. The staff is very friendly.

Previous reviews are accurate. This is a great restaurant. We ate here twice during our recent visit to Sucre. On the first occasion the restaurant was packed and Roberto initially turned us away. However, when we were about 50 metres down the street he called us back and said we could sit in a covered terrace with a heater if we wished. This turned out to be a quiet and comfortable place for the evening. During our two visits we ate from the pasta menu, and enjoyed everything. We tried the house red and white wines and both were very acceptable. Also tried the panna cotta, which was great. Roberto is a delightful man who clearly cares about what he does - and really enjoys it. Prices are very reasonable. Monterosso is definitely worth a visit.
