Happened to stay nearby and chanced upon this restaurant/cafe. Has really great ambience & food. Tried their lemon soda (real lemon juice), fried cheese wanton (really enjoyed this!) whilst my friends tried their coffee, mocca, green tea frappe and carbonara (was slightly dissapointing... the sauce was not that creamy)All in all a great stop for food and a break, the dining area on the first floor has air conditioning!Dear yewys,Greetings from 7he Vow!Thank you for sharing such a positive comments for our restaurant. I went quite a couple of times there when the family came over for a visit. When I returned a couple of weeks ago, the guy who did run the shop back in Jan/Feb, wasn't there, but a woman. She had great fun with my little dog, and the dog with her. So I had time to relax a bit and using the wifi.Thank you for your review Jethro, and for being a loyal customer. Yes, we took over the Cafe a while ago... we source our coffee beans from local roasters so they are always fresh, changed the menu a bit to offer complete meals with market fresh ingredients purchased daily, added New York style pizza and offer snacks freshly baked on the premises... My love of dogs is an added accommodation just for you - have three of them at home ⺠We appreciate your business Jethro and look forward to serving you the next time you're in town.

I guess the listing needs to be updated. The place is between Chiang Rai and Mae Chan, west of HWY 1. You won't find it in the Golden Triangle. As I live up here I was wondering if I missed something :-)

Unfortunately we only tried this small restaurant on our last night.The owners and young assistant where very hospitable. They bake their own bread and cakes even home made chocolate truffles which where offered along with a aperitif (using home grown produce) complimentary. We had chicken cooked in a delicious sauce, really is worth a visit.

Amazing food, great pasta, fantastic sourdough & garlic bread. Great Masala Chai. English is spoken here, nice owner, good service. This is a new, cute little cafe open for breakfast and lunch in one of Chiang Rai's historical buildings, not far from the big market and clocktower.
