My husband and I recently dined here. The dining room is very cozy. The wait staff was extremely attentive and friendly. My husband ordered the carrot ginger soup which was very flavorful. For the main entree he got the Tuscan Chicken which was done well and a large portion. I ordered the coconut shrimp and salad with goat cheese, apples, pears and candied nuts. Coconut shrimp was delicious. I didn't love my salad but I'm not sure if that's the salad's fault or I just wasn't quite in the mood for that salad. I would definitely dine here again though.

The servers were friendly and attentive. I had a falafel plate that was completely yummy. The portions were large enough that I had two meals. I don't normally like baklava. I decided to try it and it was incredible!!! I highly recommend Allan's Falafel!!!

We stopped for appetizers on the way between somewhere and somewhere else. I am so glad we did! There were three delightful people that worked together to make sure everyone was happy, and we certainly were! We got the camarones al ajillo and chalupas. The camarones (shrimp in garlic sauce) were wonderful, to the extent that my husband at the ajillo sauce with a spoon. The chalupas were tasty, but eat them pretty expeditiously, or the corn chips may get soggy.

We have been coming here on for over a year...all times...weekend brunch, lunch, dinner. The food is fresh, the service is fantastic and the prices are incredibly good value. A real winner! Best kept secret in Monroe. It's like a little bit of Italy set down in a strip mall. Just proves great things are often in small packages!

Have been here a few times over the years and was always satisfied but I think we just ordered the wrong things tonight. That being said, it shouldn’t be a hit and miss proposition when eating out. Split a calamari appetizer which was very good. Probably the most tender I’ve ever had and a nice dipping sauce. I ordered a shrimp and grits appetizer for my meal. The ingredients were good but dish was way over seasoned. So much thyme!!! They absolutely need a new recipe. My family is from New Orleans and i lived in the south for a few years. It seems northerners haven’t quite perfected the subtle and complex nuances of southern cooking. I couldn’t eat it so brought it home hoping to salvage it somehow. My son had boneless fried chicken. It was just ok but he said he wished he had ordered something else. I would go back because I do believe they have some good dishes and it’s close. Service was also good. So will take another chance someday but not for a long time.

Great Find With Wonderful Mexican Food
We had difficulty finding it because they have moved from #1753 to #1700 Rt 17M (Palacio) and I've been unsuccessful in getting TA to update their address for navigation. You can drink and eat either on their porch or inside in their nicely decorated dining room or rear bar area. Lunch began with fresh chips and salsa (that contained plentiful onions). Unfortunately, their Enchiladas were soggy and undesirable. I thought that the food quality was better at their Highland Falls location where we'd eaten previously (but a subsequent visit found that the food quality had gone downhill there too). Too bad the food doesn't live up to the setting.

Made reservations at the tavern for my anniversary. When we got there we were not seated in the tavern but in an overflow room with outdoor patio furniture. The food served was cold probably because we were out of the way of the regular dining area. Have eaten in both the main dining room and the tavern many times but this was so poorly run. I assume our table was given away to so,swine deemed more important. The broccoli on my entree was cold. Not sure if it was frozen but usually broccoli is hot. On the bright side the vodka was good

This place always excels in service and their recent hire, Elizabeth was fantastic. She was super pleasant and totally unruffled when the ordering system went down. She kept us appraised of our order's status, which arrived quickly anyway. One of the managers popped by to check on us as well, which was an appreciated touch.
As always the French Onion Soup is still on the top of my list!

It was 71 degrees out as we we're riding around Dutchess County on our motorcycles when I thought of the perfect spot for dinner. After riding 70 miles we arrived at the Lobster Pier. It's been about a year since my last visit here and this one didn't disappoint one bit. Had the salmon with dill sauce, salmon was cooked rare & very tasty. King crab legs were scrumptious, salad bar could be a little colder but still great. Staff very friendly.
