Worst and expensive hostel
Reviewed By twmlvThis hostel is quite expensive, but for what? Nothing! It was the worst hostel in India and here is why: - no windows in the room (twin room, 22 USD per night) - bathroom was dirty (sh*t in the toilet, fingernails in the sink etc.) when we arrived at 11 am so we asked them to clean it. When we came back at 8 pm it was still dirty, so we asked again. Finally they kind of cleaned it but The first time we could use it was 10 pm. - breakfast was not ready at the time it was supposed to be so we had to leave without breakfast. Before the receptionist lied to us that there will be stuff preparing it in a few minutes but when we came back to the reception to tell him there was no breakfast he was gone and came back later with breakfast that he just bought .. - reception was unattended when we wanted to check out so we had to wait for 25 mins - our booking on booking.com was marked as a no show by the hostel after we left so they tried to avoid us leaving a review All in all it was expensive, the room and bathroom was dirty, no service at all, they lied to us and want to avoid us complaining / contacting booking.com

Reviewed By Madhu1008No fixed plans on this visit to Chennai, found this place online I must say, I loved this place. 1st night and we had barbecue. Meeting new friends is the key to Solo travel. Definitely choosing this place for my stay again in Chennai. Very safe and conveniently located from public transport modes. Good budgeted options to have food.

Excellent Hospitality
Reviewed By anujrajput04I went there only for a day not expecting much from the price that I had paid. I was always in contact with Mr. Magesh, representative from the hostel. He was very considerate and asked what my plans were and took care of all the needs without even asking for it. When I reached the hostel, I was bombed with the generous hospitality by Mr. Shiva, he kept asking us for food, chai and was very helpful. His cheerful smile and helpful attitude literally made my day in Chennai. Since, there were not many people residing in the hostel, Magesh was kind enough to upgrade me from dorm to a private room. The hostel is very accessible from all modes of transportation, Metro station is at a 5 min walking distance from the property. Airport, Railway station and bus stands are on the Metro route. The locality is very quiet and peaceful. Many eateries and restaurants are at a stone throwaway distance. It felt like staying at home because it was actually a house turned into a hostel and the with the same warm hospitality you get at home. I want to thank the whole team working behind it and I’d recommend everyone to Elements Hostel. I think these guys should give lessons on hospitality to the whole industry. Special thanks to Mr. Shiva for making my stay pleasant and memorable.

Rooms are good and clean, internet speed was good and service is great.hotel is located in center of city. Walking distance from shopping mall , Temple and near t.nagar , marina Beach. In all Wonder full hotel in reasonable rate. Thank you Ms.Nirmala your the best service in the hotel.

Reviewed By Madhu1008Loved the place. Just as I saw in pictures. Managers are very helpful. There is lots of printed information everywhere for your ease and comfort to get around fairly new city. Since it's located right above a super market, most of things you need are always available, you just need to get down. You can even cook your own food, with the available ingredients in super market. Walking distance from beach as well. For eating there are so many options. Best part I liked is that this place is well connected by bus to the heart of the city. Auto rickshaw, hiring a cab is always an option, but the bus is the best, coz its cost effective. Definitely recommending this all female backpackers. Female dorm has attached washroom with some extra space to get ready outside it. It's safe with cctv cameras all around, except for rooms. You can leave your stuff just like that and not be worried. They even have a private room which can be availed if it's empty. Lounge or reception area is just like your cozy living room at home. Overall amazing place to stay in Chennai.?????
