Wonderful place
Reviewed By ai_deedeeThe Basrashore is a wonderful place to stay, the rooms are clean and large. I had a seaview room and spend there 9 nights. The owners are very friendly and helpful with informations. The place is very quite and nicely decorated, really enjoyed my stay there. If you are a seafood lover Chenggong is a must visit place, plenty of good seafood restaurants around. The guesthouse has free bicycles (a bit small for large persons ;-) ) and it makes it easy to explore the area. Hope to be back soon again...

Nice hotel
Reviewed By Theo WThis hotel is off highway 11 a little bit up a hill - which gives a great view. The rooms are big and beds are comfortable, and has a glass roof so you can watch the stars while in bed. If you take a 2 minute from the hotel and the lights, you can see many stars; even the milky way will become visible! The breakfast is great.

an amazing stay
Reviewed By chengyihlThis is really a gem on the coastal shore of Taitung. The villa is located on a slope, surrounding with the pineapples field. The building itself is a nature-oriented, fair-faced concrete one. Living room and a small kitchenette is on the second floor, which has big windows facing the ocean. The terrace on the rooftop provides 360 panorama toward the ocean as well as the mountain hill behind the villa, where ppl practice Yoga or Taichi under sunshine or moonlight. There is also a beautiful garden with all kinds of fruit trees and flowers. You can smell different fragrances in the air. You'd better stay here for two nights or more to enjoy the tranquility and peacefulness. Although there is not many choice of restaurant in this area, you may bring your food to the villa. The host will provide breakfast, if he is available (we didn't meet the host, since he was out of town.) It's better to have a car or rent one, but some people also came here by bus. (I do think driving or motorcycling is the best way to explore in Taitung .) Highly recommended. 出乎意外的旅程：大尾適合情侶、夫妻或家庭出遊。總共兩個房間，一次只接待一組客人。夜晚獨處野外，可以享受星空和海濱微風。前看海、後看山，整棟通風良好，視野遼闊。值得待上三天。

A great house near the Pacific Ocean in Taitung, Taiwan. We offer breakfast and comfortable beds for you. It is very quiet and beautiful around the whole region. The furnitures are all made of nature wood! The wonderful rooms are available now! The building includes 2 rooms with washing-rooms (4 people totally), living-room without kitchen. The standard price is TWD 6800 for 4 adults. Every 1 more person needs to pay another TWD 500 to get a single bed and breakfast. Six people at most could stay each day and must know each other. Our new building offers many kind of rooms, including 2 or 4 people room.
Quiet seclusion
Reviewed By DarthfurbzNicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle of everywhere in Taitung, this is a truly unique minsu (民宿 ). My family of six occupied the entire place and it was absolutely lovely. The wood deco coupled with being tucked in a secluded area at the foot of a hill gives it a rustic charm you would be hard pressed to find anywhere else in Taiwan. The manager Ms Wang is also an exceptional host. If you're lucky, she might just whip up a meal for your dinner. A truly authentic Taiwanese homecook meal! Do note that as the area is secluded, you will definitely need a car or arranged transport to get there and around. It's approximately 40mins away from Taitung's main centre. We absolutely loved our stay here.

excellent homestay
Reviewed By SherylT20I booked 2 rooms for 1 night with Macolor and they were located on different buildings. The owner patiently showed us the rooms and since he has an extra spare room in one of the building, offered us a change so that we can be in the same building. The rooms were very clean and heated! The owner cooked us a wonderful breakfast! It was a pity we only stayed 1 night here. Would definitely return and stay longer for our next trip.

Very good breakfast. Owners are polite, helpful and speak English. A swimming pool seems to be in construction.

Best place I stayed in Taiwan
Reviewed By Hope VCycling down the East Coast and this is the perfect place to stop! The family who run he b&b are wonderful and make you feel completely at home! Not only did she do laundry for free, but she took us to an excellent restaurant for dinner and then lent me her foam roller to stretch with! Was such a wonderful stay! I didn’t want to leave! Definitely stay here if you are in this part of Taiwan.
