As far as Chinese food goes, Gold Sing is the best in Kurri.Not the best Chinese I've ever had but it's pretty good especially if you don't feel like cooking and feel like take out. I wouldn't eat at the restaurant, it's very old and dingy. Takeout is fine and the staff are nice.

One of my favorite foods is Chinese it is on top of my list... this has to be the worst Chinese restaurant in NSW. My partner and I ordered their lunch special" two choice with rice or noodle!!!!!! sorry it is actually over cooked spaghetti pasta... not kidding that is true... I ordered what I thought to be honey chicken and beef in black been, the chicken was so dried and burnt on close examination as I was not very keen on eating it I figured it to be, excuse the pun.... chicken bums. I pushed it aside and tasted the black bean just as awful. My partner ordered deep fried Peking beef and fatty curry chicken thigh; when ordering the Peking my partner was asked if he wanted sweet and sour sauce or plum.... well where is the Peking sauce???? when he received his meal he just stared at his noodles in amazement and said we should have gone for Italian the meals were very small not that it mattered because we didn't eat it. Do not go there it is very disappointing. The Weston workers club just down the road has the best Chinese food and great value for around $8.00.

Add 15 minutes to the pickup time your told when you order and it will be ready. If you have to wait it will be well worth it! Delicious and fresh Chinese food prepared by a family team who have been in town for over 20 years.
