Le cadre est neuf et agréable, terrasse ou salle intérieure. Table suffisamment éloignées les unes des autres. La carte est large mais certains plats sont sans saveur. La soit disant expérience Thaïlandaise du Chef ne se voit pas dans la qualité des assiettes où flotte 60g de poulet sans saveur pour un prix de 8000 fr. Par contre belles tranches d foie bien cuisiné. Restez sur des plats européens ou locaux.

First, this restaurant is not that easy to find, and every cab driver in Bastos wants to take you to a Chinese restaurant when you ask to go to the Korean restaurant. But it's well worth it to head down the hill in Bastos and find the quiet, dead-end street that hosts La Maison de Coree. The seating is in a pleasant open-air, covered dining room, and service was above average for this area. Two of us shared bibimbap and dwangjang jige, and both were delicious and authentically Korean.

Mrs. Nguyen owns the place and works the kitchen. The waiters have been here for years. Philippe greets and "holds court" at the table nearest the bar. Patrice take over the kitchen if his mother does not feel well. It feels like home. Carmalized pork, bo luc lac, and pho are excellent. Spring rolls are the best.

I have eaten at Chinese restaurants all over Africa (Mauritania, Chad, Senegal, South Africa, Tunisia, Burkina Faso ... and the list goes on). Chez Wou is the best I have experienced! I do find that going on weekdays/nights is a bit better than on a Friday or Saturday night when they are a bit busy.

I am a blackbelt in Chinese food and, given its location, this is authentically Chinese with home-style dishes on offer. The places styled after a faded Chinese eatery with plenty of authentic design cues. The staff are friendly and attentive, plenty of Chinese diners (always a good sign) and the food is very good with a wide choice. Far better than others I have tried in town.

I enjoyed the afternoon buffet a great deal. The Safoutier dining experience in Yaoundé is well known, particularly for its entrées and desserts. On this occasion they didn't disappoint. The pasta bar is also very good. I think it would be worthwhile if they also had a buffet towards the end of the day, so you could justify a heavy meal after work and not in the middle of the work day. Still a good experience nonetheless. The staff are also very polite and well trained.
