Despite the lack of English menu and the fact that the waiter managed to only speak couple words of English here and there, we managed to order some delicious grilled meat with fries, bread and sauce which turned out to be the best meal weâve had in Serbia so far. The waiter really tried his best to please us even without common language and, overall, we were really pleased with the experience.

A local friend sugested a visit to Ognjiste lux and it was an awesome discovery. We ate a lot of Times in the whole region including Serbia, Bosna and Croatia and the cuisine at ognjiste was superb. Delicious meat and one of the top trouts. Service is excellent and friendly, excellent value for money. If you want to taste the spirit of south Serbia you are the right place.

English speaking waiter, really nice and helpfull. We have chicken with some vegetable and beer. Everything was really yummy. Only the cucumber was little bit bitter. For everything we pay 700 dinars/2persons and it's 6 euro!!! Thanks

Perfect food, fantastic atmosphere and live music. Ideal location in the dead centre. Very urban place with probably the best garden on the river promenade - Nišava Kej. Serves international and local cuisine at very competitive prices. Ideal for private and business celebrations. Seats 120 people indoors and 120 outdoors.

This fabulous microbrewery situated just off the main road, Vozda Karadoreda, has a lovely relaxed atmosphere with tables outside in the garden &seats inside if the weather is poor.There is a very large selection of beers from around the world including beers brewed in the microbrewery and several beers from Serbia. (There is a 'beer menu' available giving detailed descriptions of the beers which are available) We tried their own Ministarsko Ale (5.7%), Dr IPA (8%), Mosaic Ale (4.7%) &Dilemma Ale (6.5%)all of which were excellent. A small selection of 'beer food' (sausages etc...) are available.If you like beer, this is THE place to come in NIÅ , if not the whole of Serbia.
