Lovely views while sitting here, had lovely fresh fruit drinks and fruit pancakes which were just what we needed it was day time, not sure about coming to this area in the evening, we spent a good while sitting here shaded from the sun and enjoying the sea views, the toilets were clean and staff pleasant. It was quite quiet when we were here after visiting the slave castle near by

Unlike some other reviews of this restaurant, my experience was both positive and enjoyable. My pizza was tasty and more than enough to satisfy my hunger. My two colleagues also enjoyed their food. The view to the ocean is great. Yes, the place could be cleaner, but there is a trade-off between immediate proximity to the castle and something farther away.It is our pleasure, and we do really appreciate your views and will ensure to make the place clean and tidy till we see you again.Thank you very much

Bad experience here. The service was very slow and not helped by numerous power cuts. We ordered a starter and mains. It took a very long time for food to arrive and we didn't get our starter or a side dish and so had to get the waiter to sort it out which obviously took even more time by which point we weren't even that interested in the food. My boyfriend had a steak which we were told would be served with a white sauce. No sauce arrived so we again had to ask- at which point they produced garlic butter and claimed this to be the sauce. The steak was also burnt. I had the mushroom pasta which tasted disgusting. The single toilet for the entire restaurant wasn't flushing so was quite unhygienic.Overall service incredibly slow although they were apologetic about all the mistakes though no compensation was offered Wouldn't go again.

Emperor Ital Vegan Restaurant was a surprise find! All the locals recommend Kenya and his restaurant. We walked in and were very nervous but it was the best meal we had in Ghana. I had the veggie burger and it was amazing. Kenya typically makes one meal a day, but he ran out and we ordered something. He ran to the store to get the ingredients and it was definitely worth the wait. Don't be put off by the small building or cheap costs. It was a wonderful meal.

The location of this resort is just perfect. We arrived on Saturday and could party in the bar. Food and drinks relatively cheap. On Sunday we took a 8 min beach walk to Cape coast castle, we visited some local shops and had dinner in the resort. Really enjoyed our stay.

We went to New Life based on trip advisor ratings. It's literally a hole in the wall which could be charming but unfortunately is not. It is run by a rastafarian gentleman the clientele consisted mostly of chilled out customers. We ordered the jolof rice which took about 1h20 min to be served. It was a record even by Ghanain standard! To top it all, the food was uneventful- undercooked soupy tomato-y rice. What a farce! Not sure what the trip advisor customers were smoking in giving this place 5 stars.... but I can guess.

When we arrived at this restaurant, the chef/manager/sing employee had decided not to open for the day. But since we were there, she agreed to make us some dinner. About an hour later, we enjoyed some of the best fried chicken and red beans of our trip. (The price was about 35 cedis/ 10 USD.) She didn't have any cold beer, so we walked up to a nearby stall to grab some. The woman was very friendly and kind and is a terrific chef. I highly recommend stopping by her place, just try to give her a bit of a heads up if you plan to come by for dinner, or be ready to wait about an hour.
