The population in 2011 was 828 for the village and 854 for the community, which includes the village Frama. Its elevation is 10 m. Nea Skioni is located 7 km southwest of Chaniotis, 7 km west of Agia Paraskevi and 90 km southeast of Thessaloniki. It is named after the ancient city of Scione, whose site was nearby to the east.

We holiday in polichrono in July this was the first eating place we used what a find,the pizza were excellent ,they would make you any kind you wanted at no extra cost,they also had some lovely pasta dishes on the menu as well as cold beer ,what more could you want.

Hidden away on a side street and definitely worth finding! We sat by a grass garden area which the kids enjoyed to play in whilst we waited for the food. Delicious fresh dough balls to start followed by the best pizza I have ever tasted!! The dough was fresh, light and scrumptious. Well topped pizzas with fresh ingredients. Looking forward to visiting again on our last night. Definitely my favourite restaurant in the area!

We paid one visit to this restaurant for a change and we're pleased enough with what was presented. We opted for standard pasta dishes and weren't disappointed. Good selection of Italian dishes that are priced reasonably backed up by a friendly staff that seemed genuinely in how things were. Worth a visit if you're visiting Pefkohori.

Cocones is an all-day beach bar that offers sea loungers, a plentiful menu of cocktails and finger-licking food.Although not a restaurant, the burgers and pizza are well made while priced reasonably. It is convenient not having to move from the sea when hungry!The menu includes a range of interesting cocktails. We have been going to this pizza place for years and it is always so delicious. The large pizza is massive and the crust and toppings are so tasty! It is always so busy because the food is so good and also well-priced. We highly recommend this place!

â¬2 for a large slice of take out pizza which is hand tossed in front of you, delicious on your way home from Hanioti square after a few drinks and a bit of shopping. The restaurant however we found to be lacking in the service department which meant we only ended up eating in once. It was busy but we were seated, waited an age for a menu and couldnât get anyone to bring our bill when finished. Definitely needs more staff as we didnât feel welcome or like valued customers. We ordered two pizzas to share and a Greek salad. The chilli pizza was a bit weird, cheese pizza but with chilli powder sprinkled on the top! Greek salad, lovely and pepperoni pizza tasty too. If weâd have had better service we may have eaten in there again although we did use the takeaway counter for the odd large slice.

We had heard good things about this place so decided to try it first impression was very good we were met by very friendly staff and I must say our food was very good however as more local customers came in it became harder to attract the waiters attention also our water was forgotten but it was still added to the bill In all a good meal but wonât be returning!!!We are very sorry for our mistake from our waiter which hi didnât bring the water and hi never told as also to takeout of the bill ,we wish u a good winter and again very sorry

Car trip out we ended up wandering round the village beach and small port harbour here and thinking well coffee and a treat maybe it was the menu board pulled us in here.Coffee and a wine more unusual it was a large measure and two ice cream treats that we polished off.Iâm unsure how many brits come here ? But it was ok for use .. seemly more to the Greek taste Cost well usual all around under 20 euros
