Restaurant located in the historic center of Popayan (two blocks from Parque Caldas) where we offer tasty, healthy and varied food, based on recipes from the tradition of Spanish, Italian, French and Mediterranean cuisine.

We were 4 dinning there. The restaurant is small (4 or 5 tables) and cute. The waitress speaks at least Spanish and English.We took two small tapas (hummus and eggplant caviar) both were tasty.We then took pastas with juices. All of what we ordered was good, and more than enough for our stomach. We paid 92'000 COP for 4 for what we ordered. I definitely recommend to anyone passing by Popayan.

I have to admit I was expecting a bit more from Pita given all the 5* reviews. The atmosphere was cosy owing to the lovely way the restaurant is decorated and our waiter was attentive and helpful.The menu is a bit hard to interpret due to it looking very 'busy' due to the various fonts and info put on it, but the waiter explained it all to us so the menu didn't cause a problem after that.We had a 2 person sharing platter of 4 falafel and 4 quibbl, some ham, cheese, olives, sun dried tomato and hummus, it also included a small bowl of nuts and a small bag of 'pita chips', tortilla type chips which appear to have been made in house. We ordered some pitta bread because neither is us are fans of hard chips and I find soft Pita easier to use when scooping up hummus!The sun-dried tomatoes were yummy but we could have used more hummus because we ran out quickly. Overall the platter was reasonable value at 24,000 COP given the niceness of the restaurant but a tad too little food for 2 people. We were left a bit hungry afterward so although the platter is on the menu as a main meal for 2 people I would recommend you order something else to go with it.

This is my favorite restaurant hands down. Whenever I think of good food this is the place that comes to mind. The Mediterranean dishes are authentic and hard to find, even in bigger cities. The owner is very kind and if you have the chance, let him please your cravings with his suggestions.Try it, youâll thank me later.Muchas gracias por ese comentario tan honesto. Cada dÃa tratamos de conseguir mejor productos para poder ofrecer platos de la cocina mediterránea de la manera más fiel posible. Hacemos un gran esfuerzo pero merece la pena gracias a comentarios como el suyo. Un abrazo

Es un sitio muy agradable, la comida es preparada por el mismo chef, que es el dueño del restaurante, con los mejores ingredientes nacionales e internacionales. Puede visitar el sitio, o pedir a domicilio. Es mi sitio preferido para comer paella, rabo de toro, y tapitas españolas. Y qué decir de la sangrÃa, !!!!! hummmmmm qué delicia!!!!, y la atención, excelente.Los precios son sumamente cómodos.Atrévase a visitar esta ricura de restaurante.

I went for lunch and had the menú del dÃa. They served an amazing healthy and freshly prepared three course meal with juice for 9000cop. The atmosphere is tranquil/fancy and the staff was very friendly/helpful. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting town!
