Wilma's was recommended by many locals so we had to try it. Very small interior. The day we were there it was very hot and humid. There was absolutely no air circulation, no windows opened etc. We just sat there and melted. No menu. Server came out and just verbally told you what your choices were. No pricing known ahead of time either. After all said and done, pricing was reasonable. Will I visit again? Probably not.Hi Gail! I'm sorry it gets a bit hot inside sometimes. We now have several windows and fans on the inside. We also now have an open courtyard which is great for those extra hot days As well as a daily menu board. We do hope that you give us another try. Thanks for coming!

Cleveland Gardens is a local gem, featuring delicious Caribbean meals, sandwiches and FRESH JUICES made from local fruits grown in the garden. Dishes here are plentiful and come with a side (salad greens or something a bit naughtier like fries and onion rings). There's a nice balance of healthy and fried foods served here--so everyone in your party will be happy. I decided to have a little of both! I was lucky to lunch here and meet the owner who graciously walked me through the garden he's been tending for over a year now. He showed me the Jamun Berry tree, Bajan Cherry and Soursop fruits used to make his popular juices. My favorite was the Jamun juice. Locals really love this spot, which is always a good sign you're in the right place. I particularly enjoyed my lunch here because I got to catch up on US politics (the TV was set to CNN) while eating fried conch with mango aioli and a healthy salad. The owner mentioned he's been open for about a year and grows many of the vegetables, lettuces and fruits used in the garden. He's very focused on the healing properties these fresh ingredients offer and it was quite lovely to see the passion he has for his restaurant. We also ordered a Salmon Fish Sandwich--quite possibly the best fish sandwich of my life! The onion rings probably were not the healthiest side option but who cares, they were SO GOOD! There's no alcohol served here so don't expect rum punches or anything of that nature but come hungry and take his advice on what to try. We did and couldn't have been happier with our meal.
