Loved this place from the moment we arrived. Extremely helpful staff, great location and quirky individual rooms. The Bo Kap district is often featured in Cape Town travel pictures due to its brightly coloured painted houses. The Rouge on Rose is a couple of blocks away from a number of excellent restaurants and a short walk to the Greenmarket area (for shopping). The owners Ursula and Michel were super friendly and always on hand to help or make suggestions - we felt like part of the family. The breakfast was freshly prepared to order and of a very high standard, served by the delightful Chris. The waterfront area is about a 20 minute walk away or a few minutes in an Uber (Ubers are very cheap in Cape Town) For my next visit to Cape Town, I will not be looking to stay anywhere else.
