White Elephant is located in the Zurich Marriott. Expectations were not high for Thai food in Switzerland, but White Elephant was a pleasant surprise. Food was excellent, some of the best Thai I have ever had. Crispy duck was large and very flavorful. Pad Thai was outstanding and well presented. Thai Food as authentic as it can get in Zurich. It is more a take-away but with some seats inside and outside. Price is fair and they serve large portions.Be careful with the meal which has a little dragon in front (very spicy).Staff is mostly thai and super friendly. Give a tip and you will find out... :)

This restaurant is really good, The food was very good and the portions quite big. The service was quick and friendly and they clearly kept a good eye on all tables as I noticed that wine glasses did not go empty and other empty glasses were quickly removed. We really enjoyed eating at the monkey bar.. the service staff were excellent and explained the menu well. We stuck to the traditional pad Thai chicken and a prawn green curry. Both dishes were fabulous! The entrees were super yummy too.. we had the chicken skewers and spring rolls. Bit pricey for the whole meal but Zürich is not cheap so overall a good experience. We came for dinner to this wonderful Viatnamese/Asian restaurant. All service personnel was extremely friendly, attentive and very helpful. Food came quickly (we did not go for the large buffet) and tasted excellent. On top the Thach looks so much better from the inside than the outside. Is this a helpful review?
