Have been there a few times but usually for tea time. This time lunch and we enjoyed really a nice selection of food. I can recommend the Angus Burger but Pizza looked REALLY good as well and tasted outstanding. The oven is very special and dough only 2mm thick. Back to my burger: Great Angus beef, bit too well done for a medium and the meat could be a little bit less heavy/solid. Taste was very good with a good barbecue sauce and salad. Again a nice time and reason to come back for more ( aged beef ). Service and decoration is country style and friendly. But on the other hand the beer selection and spirits outstanding. Too bad Gersau is so far away from any fast connection/city/major place. Also the ship schedule in winter time is not ideal but fit was very good for lunch.

No major views. Very pretty stylish room. Service was slow but friendly and efficent. Food was excellent. VERY EXPENSIVE- small alacarte steak was 70+ CHF with one side. This restaurant is exactly what was missing in the canton for a long time. When entering inside you really think that you just stepped into a new trendy place in London or Dubai. Lovely ambience and interior, with great seating possibilites outside aswell. You do come here though for the food which is mostly meat. The main reason people come here is for the brazilian churassco. The meat selection offers around 10-12 different types of cuts of meat, all cooked really tasty. Salad buffet is not overwhelming, but good and the side dish buffet offers something for everyone.Service is warm and friendly and I'd say the value for money expecially for the churassco is really unbeaten.Highly highly recommended particularly if you had enough of all the same Pizzerias and typical Swiss restaurants in the region!
