Dicker Nebel bei uns, Sonne in der Höhe. Ein Grund, wieder mal auf den nahegelegenen Menzberg zu fahren. Im Landgasthof Menzberg kehrten wir zum Mittagessen ein. Der Empfang und die Bedienung waren freundlich und herzlich. Das Essen war sehr gut gekocht und schön präsentiert. Auch Preis-Leistung stimmen. Wir können den Menzberg nur empfehlen.

The restaurant is very nice and cozy. You feel like home as soon as you enter.The owner is friendly and super simpatico. She also never says no to a nice chat and has a lot of hints, what to do in the countryside of beautiful Lucerne. You can choose from a big list, what you'd like to have on your Pizza and the two Pizzaiolos create a supertasty Pizza, even if you decide to choose everything :)

The perfect countryside place one can discover. 95% of locals. The chef is also the butcher. Best meats, sausages. Kind service. Dont tell. This is a true gem.

Der Name Woods kommt wohl davon, dass die Wände mit Holz verkleidet sind. Das macht den Innenraum heimelig. Wer auf der Terrasse sitzen will im bei schönen Wetter, sollte vorher reservieren oder rechtzeitig kommen, da diese Plätze rasch weg sind. Das essen selber ist gut bürgerlich und die Preise fair. Im Mittagsmenü ist jeweils noch eine Suppe oder Salat inklusive, sowie ein Dessert. Das Essen hat immer geschmeckt. Bedienung ist freundlich und speditiv.

The most friendly waitress Iâve ever seen works at Da Fusco! I had a rucola, tomato and Parmesan salad as a starter, Homemade pasta with salmon and cream sauce as a main dish and tiramisu for dessert. The portions are not so big, even thought they also offer smaller portions... never choose the smaller portion here! I was replete but not oversaturated, so it was perfect to order 3 courses. I would say the prices here are in the middle price range for a italian restaurant, but the significant difference is, that Da Fusco offers homemade pasta! Thank you for the great rating. We are also always happy when we are allowed to serve great guests. Best regards from the whole Fusco Team :-)

Very good for pizza and pasta. Solid service and located in center of Willisau. Nice outdoor dining space in rear. Observed constant take-out for pizza while there.

Next to the historic townc center of Willisau, there is a new kid in town. The "Gasthof zum Mohren" an old style traditional restaurant seemingly under new management. The service is fast, friendly and the food is good and for Switzerland moderately prized.There are several daily three-course menus and a large a la carte choice.

Small town/village. Decided to stop for lunch. Walked in, and everyone in the place (who obviously know each other) turned to stare. After waitress found someone who spoke English, we were invited to sit. Many stares, comments in German, and a couple smiles/nods. We had great schnitzel - again. Best rest stop ever. Helped in a debate about "Pretty Woman" (Angelina Jolie vs ???) in German. They were so happy when I whispered "Julia Roberts." A chance worth taking, led to a very lovely experience with these very friendly people and great food.
