I understand no restaurant owners like to receive a terrible review, so I will give 5 star, but will state the reality. I have no idea how this restaurant has received excellent reviews! We were visiting Gstaad for an events, walked down the town, not much was open it was a toss between Pizza or Indian checked the reviews, thought let’s give it a go how much can we go wrong with curry, rice and NaanSeriously this is a big let down and gives a wrong impression for an Indian restaurantBooked a table by calling, when arrived they didn’t know about the bookingAsis sorted a table out, ordered a beer and mango lassi, mango lassi was forgotten had to remind for it, when it came no apologies and it was warm.Asked for two popadoms got four pies and some kind of sauce and two bits of pickle, see attached picture, asked for mixed chick and prawn curry which had to be asked if can be made. Asked for garlic naan and plain Naan see attached pictureThe owners need to realise they are sitting on a gold mine here, surrounded by very wealthy community and tourists with deeper pockets. Seriously you need to get out a bit more and learn from other restaurants, give the guests a real 5* service all the way from entry, menu, communication, ambience, quality of food and drinks etc... You need to do a reality check of your business, who your customers, are you really delivering on their expectations.Study the quadrant What do others know you Don’t? Hope you take some of the above in your strategy going forward.Best wishes
