Lovely restaurant with a terrace in a quiet street. We enjoyed a very nice dinner on a beautiful summer evening together with friends and their three children. Service was friendly and welcoming. They immediately brought some pencils and paper to entertain the children.We could not resist ordering the cheese fondue with mushrooms. It was truly excellent. Schön, dass Sie es geschmeckt haben. Wir beziehen unseren Käse für das Fondue von einer kleinen Käserei im Greyerzerland. Dieser ist handgemacht und wird mit der Qualitätsbezeichnung AOP gekührt. Erst wenn dieser richtig reif ist, kommt er bei uns in unser Fondue. Ihre Variante mit nussigen Morcheln ist auch für uns die Krönung eines Fondues. Kinder sind bei uns immer willkommen. This is a beautiful, French-feeling restaurant in the centre of Bern. We had some delightful white wine as an aperitif, and then for the food enjoyed a really quite fabulous cordon bleu veal dish - everything you want when in Switzerland. The accompanying salad was fresh, crisp and delicious. The service throughout was top level and with a sense of humour, and to round it all off the chocolate mousse with a tantalising gruyere cream was genuinely original. The Humagne Rouge local red wine was a talking point and in a very good way. Swiss restaurants aren't cheap but this felt like decent value for the price. Have the various meats (displayed in the sales counter) explained by the butcher and decide which meats you want to savor. After a showr while the meat - grilled to perfection - is served on a wooden plate, to share with your friends.
