This is our 4th visit in past 2 years.We arrived at 2.20pm for our lunch not expecting the place to be packed with very noisy children only to be out done by the grown ups. Very Spanish , beware this is aexpensive place compared to others in medano and which in my opinion are better, one person ordered pan and a small 30 cent roll arrived cut into 4 pieces, the actual cost was 5 euros as all people on table were charged 1 Euro each ? I ordered leg of lamb 19 euros plus potatoes 4 Euro plus veg? a bottle of house wine my wife the same no starter no sweet total bill 68 Euro I did not leave a tip.We have Spanish friends who advised them to try this restaurant and we went with them , they were very disappointed. Llegamos a las 2:20 pm para nuestro almuerzo y no esperábamos que el lugar estuviera lleno de niños muy ruidosos solo para que los adultos lo hicieran. Muy español, ten en cuenta que este es un lugar caro en comparación con otros en medano y que en mi opinión es mejor, una persona pidió pan y un pequeño rollo de 30 centavos llegó cortado en 4 pedazos, el costo real fue de 5 euros ya que todas las personas en la mesa 1 euro cada uno? Pedà pierna de cordero 19 euros más patatas 4 euros más verduras? una botella de vino de la casa mi esposa la misma no entrante no dulce cuenta total 68 euros No dejé propina. Tenemos amigos españoles que les aconsejaron probar este restaurante y fuimos con ellos, estaban muy decepcionados. No volveré a ir Desde la empresa lamentamos mucho no su desilusión con barios aspectos de su visita sólo comentarle que esperemos que si por casualidad algún dÃa se decide a visitarnos otra vez nos termine de esplicar los problemas que tuvo ya que no lo tenemos muy claro

We visited El Tiburon twice last week whilst staying at the Country Club just up the road. Really good friendly service and the food fantastic. I particularly liked the scallop starter (I had that both times!!) and the seafood paella was excellentHighly recommended

Great views and fresh seafood with good service from both the Scottish and Spanish waitresses. Reasonably priced and would def recommendOnly negative was we walked the coastal path from san blas which is still under construction. Once again we visited our favourite restaurant in Los Abrigos and it did not disappoint. Wonderful food. We had the sea food platter for two. Wow, I'm sure the platter get a bigger with every visit. Great atmosphere and the staff are very accommodating even allowing us to rearrange the table to suit our needs. Well worth a visit. Superb food muy bien. Beautifully presented food and well thought out menu. The food is designed and served to share which gives a lovely experience and is very different from the standard restaurant food menus elsewhere. The staff were very attentive and explained the menu well. Definitely the best service we have experienced in the Canaries and matching Five Star fine dining in the UK. We visited twice in one week to make the most out of the menu and thoroughly enjoyed both visits. We have been here following TripAdvisor reviews.Nice atmosphere, we booked a table and we were advised that the kitchen close at 22:00. The service is friendly and quite fast.They offer tapas and fresh fishes that Ilario show you.The pulp was not amazing and super fresh I would say as it was quite soft.The white wine from the restaurant was quite good and we had three bottles.In the end we paid around 32⬠each person.On a side note we have to say that while choosing the fish we were advised that the one we wanted was a Cernia but in the end the fish was very good but it was not a Cernia actually.For the rest all was very good and with fair price.Hi MrHyde2010;Thank you for your visit and the time spent reviewing us, we are very happy that you enjoyed your experience at El Rinconcito de Hilario. My husband and I absolutely love this restaurant.We reside in the Golf del Sur area when we are on our holidays and make sure that we visit this fantastic restaurant which is only a 20 minute drive away.From the moment you walk in the door Juan Carlos and his wife ensure you of a very warm welcome. Ricardo the proprietor and chef always comes out from the kitchen to welcome us.The other members of the kitchen team always give a little wave.Now onto the amazing food.Every single dish is served like a masterpiece. Great care is taken in its presentation.Every dish is served on a different style and shape of plate.The flavours of every dish has had a great deal of thought put into it.Our favourite dishes are the prawns on a banana and lime chutney, The pork chop ( the biggest we've ever seen ) and the pork medallions .Everything is cooked to perfection.The fact that this lovely hidden gem is packed out with locals dining here tells you how good this restaurant is.We can't wait to return next May.
