Costa Italia

Come and enjoy the best Italian cuisine in Vecindario. Be surrounded by the authentic Neapolitan vibe, from the music to the interior design. An unique experience that you need to try.

Family run Italian Trattorias can be hard to found, but this little gem in Vecindario is well worth discovering. Just minutes of the main GC1 South of Las Palmas Airport, it's a truly Mother and son affair with delicious hand made dishes thoughout the menu. In this intimate little place we not only enjoyed great food, but the chance to chat about what makes Italian food so great with the owners. Both the pizza and pasta dishes we ate were freshly made and first class, while the hand made Cannoli and slightly less traditional Brownie were equally fantastic.Although relatively quiet at this time of year - especially on a Monday night, it's clearly a place that's busy most days and popular with locals and holiday makers alike. If you love Italian food, you'll love Costa Italia as much as we did.

This is one among few great places to find excellent food, wine and HOSPITALITY. When serving, Silvia also gives us information about the grape, the vineyard and the character of the wine. Mirco is the chef and he makes us taste wonderful cheeses, ham, carpaccio og tuna or meat, beside his own red pepper marmalade. This couple always makes the visit at Tintoroble, a visit into gourmet tastes, both food and wine, AND being so warm and friendly you feel as if you are staying in private surroundings, not at San Agustin Shopping Centre. We highly recommend TintoRoble, Silvia and Mirco

Restaurante Sidecar

Mediterranean cuisine restaurant with striking dishes in which the technique and the Canarian product are frequently fused with oriental flavors in sauces and spices. An elegant and sophisticated place perfect to enjoy in the south of Gran Canaria.

We were staying at the hotel and wanted a change from the buffet. A tasting menu was on offer. We have sampled a lot of tasting menus and this was the best value ever. I don't eat meat, so there was a couple of things I couldn't eat and although my husband loves chicken, he wasn't keen on the overpowering aniseed flavour. I would have liked to have eaten there again if a different menu had been on offer.

Fabulous food that is so different from the normal hotel buffet served by excellent friendly staff and thankfully priced in a way to attract smart looking people. Food was beautifully presented, Tuna was just shown where the pan and therefore cooked to perfection. Smoked salmon salad was amazing and lunch was amazing too. Cocktails and drink at lunchtime and dinner were perfectly mixed. Not cheap but in a way that was OK. No kids, perfect. Definitely worth a visit if you want something different with fabulous views across the bay.Dear client,we would like to thank you for having chosen our Restaurant Gorbea to spend with us what it was a nice evening and also for having shared your review. Firstly this restaurant refused to send me a menu in advance - apparently not company policy, which is ridiculous. So you take a risk that it offers food and cooking style that you may or may not like. Secondly the prices shown on the menu once you are there do not include tax (not made clear at all} so when you get the bill that is then added. Never had that from a reputable restaurant before. Thirdly they overcharged for a glass of wine hoping we wouldn't notice. The food is reasonable buit not exceptional and it is so annoying that they behave in this way. Consequently it does not deserve its' high ratings.

We weren’t even sure that we’d find anywhere to eat on arrival in Arternara but we stumbled across two close to each other, but this little vegan restaurant flying prayer flags outside, really captured our imagination (and I’m a full time meat eater!) They have a brilliant philosophy about using home grown and organic foods mostly sourced locally in the mountain top village. Everything is fresh, tasty and beautifully cooked. Ok that’s a big claim for my first visit but I ordered two crepes, one tomato and local cheese and also a roasted banana, toffee & rum and both were mouth-wateringly scrummy! I also enjoyed a locally brewed craft beer which was wonderfully hoppy and served really cold, a gorgeous relief on this baking hot day.The owner was really friendly and extremely helpful and clearly passionate about the food and their approach. I was anxious that we waited so long to be served but there is definitely a laid back un-rushed atmosphere here and SO lovely to hear fluent Spanish everywhere unlike the horrendous English holiday atmosphere of Puerto Rico where we are staying. This restaurant is a gem of a place :-) Gracias!!!

My wife and I both get a buzzin vibe immediately off Essi and stay.Ive been to a few Michelin Star restaurants and let me tell you  Calabrian chef Nico is a cooking genius. I seriously rate this as 'The best culinary' experience I've had. After me interogating Nico I find out he spent 2 years in Australia cooking as well as his extensive world travel has culminated in mind blowing dishes. Essi provides the icing on the experience with her personality oozing pure genuiness. This girl just rocks it!After 3 courses, coffee and limoncello my wife and concur we have found the best restaurant on Gran Canaria by far.We return the next night, choosing totally different dishes. We have a chefs platter & we are both totally shocked that it as good if not better than our first night here. Totally fautless food, wine topped off with impeccable service.Easily the highest rating I could give any restaurant Ive been too. Ohhhhh guys thanks a lot really, I'm really happy to ear you truly enjoyed our ways.. Hopefully catch up again somewhere one day
