After having read the AAA article in a recent issue we made a point of stopping here on a recent Sunday. Arrived before lunch crowd and received excellent service. Waiter was very knowledgeable about menu We shared an appetizer of cheese dry salami and awesome olives. I’m not a big green olive fan but these were out of this world with a tasty citrus vinegarette. This was followed by their famous egg salad sandwich which we once again shared. Not your run of the mill egg sandwich for sure! With 2 glasses of wine we were too full for dessert but the options sounded wonderful. A little pricey for lunch but what the heck when you’re on vacation!

The baked goat cheese is the best thing I've ever had in my entire life!! We stopped in here based on several recommendations and I'm so glad we did. Fun, inventive cocktails, good wine and beer selections, excellent food! This place made us break our guideline of not going to the same place twice during our vacation. I would eat here every day if I lived here. Location is a little off the main drag in a little square. Go find it!!

We went for dinner on Mother’s Day. We were surprised it wasn’t busier, but enjoyed the attention and great service. The food and wines were explained to us by a very knowledgeable server (April). My daughter (new Mom) has several allergies and April was careful to advise the chef and explain the ingredients in detail to us. This restaurant offers a free-choice tasting menu from at least 4 choices per course. You can choose 3, 4 or 5 servings and can order wine by the glass, bottle or have a pairing of mostly their wines, which were all excellent. The duck wings appetizer should be on everyone’s list. It was the best of all the offerings that I had in my 4 courses. The halibut was good, but a bit under seasoned. I rather enjoyed a surprising cauliflower appetizer that could easily pass as a dessert! My actual dessert was a deconstructed tiramisu that was light as a feather. This is our daughter and son-in-law’s favourite restaurant in Solvang and we can see why after only one visit.

My husband & I, along with another couple had made reservations for dinner at Aly's while visiting wine country. When we arrived on a Thursday evening the place was empty, so initially I was a bit concerned. However, all of that changed with the wonderful service and delicious dinner we got to enjoy!! We had the place to ourselves and had a great time. That evening we had shared the Lobster Mac & Cheese, which was yummy and not the usual heavy, dense variety most serve. I followed that with the best tomato soup I've ever had. Absolutely fantastic! Entrees were the Fish Tacos, Duck, Scallops and Caprese Salad. We were also introduced to the chef. Lovely man and very talented! Very nice dinner & I would highly recommend others who have not tried this place, to make reservations and enjoy!
