Ended up at Clarkie's on a recommendation from a friend who lives in that area. Super good service, breakfast, everything. Cinnamon muffins were sooo good. We shared one between 3 of us so we would have room for breakfast. I always judge a restaurant by the pancakes, even if i have to order an "add on" to check it out. It was definitely a winner, as were the rest of our food choices. If you find yourself in Calimesa, stop there, even if it's only to take muffins to go!

I have had the best pecan pie, Dutch apple, cinnamon raisin bread with sauce, bread pudding, and buttermilk pie at Kopper Kettle Cafe in Yucaipa, Ca absolutely delicious. That's all so far I will try other desserts too. If any has other desserts worth mentioning let people know also, so I might be able to eat myself and Like posts something on TA. Thanks.

Our Breakfast was good, lots of it...Homestyle and Portions are quite plentiful. Our server was attentive and efficient. The menu was extensive for all three meals, breakfast, lunch & dinner. The local neighborhood vibe was nice too.

Hot coffee refilled twice with out asking, meaty bacon fully cooked (not rubbery undercooked nor burnt), hash browns crispy outside but soft inside, eggs were scrambled fluffy and fully whipped, pancake was thick and tasty. A properly cooked breakfast with good service and fair price. Will be back for more.
