We had armenian cucumber gazbacho soup. Tasted refreshing and wonderful. Also had heirloom tomato salad with avacado mousse. Tomatoes were real heirloom, and dressing lovely. Both tri tip and hamburger freshly grilled and high quality. This is certainly one of the best in Walnut Creek. Service, and cocktails are great too.

We arrive late and we leave after the closing hour. However, we never felt like they were pushing to leave. Indeed the waiter was super nice. He recommended a very good dishes and the artichokes were simply perfect I appreciated the wine too,but I didn't like the tiramisu. I expected more coffee in it. Overall the experience was very good. Right in the central part of Walnut Creek's downtown area, Residual Sugar has an amazing selection of wines by the glass and bottle. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable and there is also a menu of food that pairs well with the wines including a great charcuterie board. The wall has tons of bottles you can buy and there is enough choice to please every palate.
