I do not like corporate restaurants, I usually eat at mom and pop places. If you are in the mood for a sandwich and can't make up your mind on what to get, you will have a tough time choosing something here. They offer a 'you name it we got it' sandwich menu. I ordered the Reuben six inch sandwich which was very good but a bit pricey for what you get.

I thought the name of this restaurant was just a clever phrase, but it's really a warning. The love is there in the form of a wonderful wait staff, attentive without being intrusive. The salt is everywhere, even dominating the salad I ordered. My dining companion said the same thing about his entree. The servers are apparently in on the secret, as they stop by frequently to refill water glasses. Have to say, though, the ricotta pancake we shared for dessert was perfection.

Made reservations for this very busy restaurant, located less than a block from the beach. This restaurant has a large variety of pasta and seafood dishes. An extensive wine and mixed drink menu. The Manhattan Chowder was the best I've ever had. The four entrees we ordered were delicious. They were delivered quickly and piping hot. The only criticism was the bread. They can do better. Service was excellent and prices were reasonable considering the location and quality of food.

Stopped by on our way to Tiki cocktails & were able to reserve a great window table. The staff here are fabulous - accommodating - helpful. Our wine was recommended - the food was flavourful & fresh. Excellent lasagna & ravioli. Enough to take home for breakfast or lunch. My only negative experience was the 50âish couple making out beside us. Really- could they not afford a room :(. Is this the California norm?

Brief overnight pitstop at LAX, so we grabbed the opportunity to visit with friends, and they suggested meeting here.Tucked away in the corner of a fairly forgettable group of shops - a Mall. More like Micro-Mall. It was hardly conspicuous or special looking, but hey - "when in LA, do as the Locals do" - isn't that the mantra.Well they were right..Chose kale - No. Not me. They chose it, for us to share. I don't like kale.I do now.No idea what, how nor even why, but it was delicious. So were our Mains (Entrees - Capellini, Scarpinocc, Fettuccine & Bavette) and desserts - Tiramisu & Meyer Lemon Pie.Congratulations. A grey, cool, Tuesday evening at the very end of January, and it was full, with extra table flowing out into the street and adjoining pavements.Like I said - looks nothing at first sight, so do NOT judge by the cover. Definitely will come again. Just a shame, it's a bit out of our way.Judging by this experience, and since it is now some weeks later, I strongly commend Booking a Table ahead. Fine-Dining it isn't. This place is for Foodies, who enjoy original Italian home-cooking.

We stopped by for an early Sunday dinner, expecting the restaurant to be empty. We were wrong, it was packed! We were able to grab a table in the bar, no wait time. Our server and the bartender were pleasant and our pizza and salad arrived reasonably promptly. The pizza was fine but I don't plan a return visit.

OK I reviewed this restaurant before. I gotta say it is the first place we eat when we arrive in LA. The food is fresh, the bean and garlic dip is out of this world. Small wine list and fair prices. Always have the special.

We went here and this was a special spot. The food was delicious. Shopping at The Point is available, kids can play on the grass, & get some energy out before or after dinner. Just a great place to hang out and enjoy the outdoors.
