This is such a cool old steakhouse! My husband and I always end up here for our anniversary each December. Old school steak house.... Always end up ordering the special prime rib, baked potato, yorkshire pudding and veggie plate. Steak is sooooooooo yummy!!!!cheese bread too! This year we split a warm spinach salad beforehand......loved it! Too full foe dessert. This year we didn't but we sometimes take the cheesecake and tirimisu home to enjoy later. Anyways, if you're into old steak houses this is a must! Did I mention the big copper fireplace in the middle? :)

Stopped in for dinner on our last trip to CA and enjoyed the food. Staff was attentive and small menu choices were interesting. They have a selection of signature and deli sandwiches, i.e., sloppy joe, Cuban, oyster po'boy, dogs, and hot pastrami. There are also some entree choices like short ribs, meatloaf, chimichanga, salmon, and BBQ shrimp. We enjoyed he seared ahi and burger.

This is a good location, in that it was out of the way of the "limelight" of the area. This is definitely geared towards a local, rather than transit/tourist/visitor, crowd. The staff was friendly, and the menu was extensive. There is a wood / "rustic" theme inside. The food was good, but nothing great. My steak had good flavor, but it didn't seem like it was a great cut of meat. The price seemed reasonable, though.

Recently re-visited . Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. Although, the chesseburgers were requested w/o onions or catsup they arrived with both. Sent back and 30 min wait. No lettuce, tomato, and cold hard unmelted cheese were the replacement and stil no lettuce nor tomato.

Our recent experience at this Black Angus was very good. The efficient staff and entrees we chose tasted good, however, when you order chicken at a steak house the chicken may not be moist. This was the case for us. A big disappointment but it wonât stop us from returning.I am happy to see that your positive comments far outweigh the negative and thank you for bringing to our attention the issues you had when visiting. The hubby and I went for a late night drink and appetizers. We had the tacos and the queso and both were great! The ambiance is for a youngish crowd, as it was dark and the music was loud. The sports were being broadcast and it got really loud sometimes. Getting a table was a challenge and it's all reserved seating, even at the bar area. We will definitely go back for drinks and appetizers, but maybe a little earlier in the evening. The hubby was very happy with the beer selection and the size options for the beer. The service was decent considering how crowded it was.

I looked for restaurants that had good reviews and I saw a few of them.number of them, but this was the only one that had a time that worked for us. My husband has been here a few times with business partners and ate dinner in a secluded room. It works well if you need privacy and have a lot of people. We both ordered filet mignon with lobster and risotto. I ordered French onion soup and my husband ordered their specialty soup which is their creamy mushroom soup. Our meal was great and the service outstanding. We had waiters stop by every 10 minutes asking if we needed anything. They definitely had extra staff for their Valentineâs dinner which was great. I forgot to take pictures of our dinner before we started eating, but I did get our dessert which was very good. My husband is a chocoholic so we ordered their chocolate cake which was great. We will definitely be back.

We tried to give BJâs another chance. This time we dined in.Service was friendly but slow! We ordered the Spinach dip. It was over cooked and not hot. Lots of chips though! My husband has the shrimp tacos and I had the Mahi Mahi tacos. It seemed like everyone around us was being served but not us. It was therefore not surprising that our tacos were not hot enough and we had to send them back. There was a glitch with the bill as well. Next time we are in the area we will probably try some other place to eat!

Great restaurant atmosphere with open view of the big Barbecue Smoker! Customer and server service were excellent. Server gave excellent recommendations for first time visitors.
