We ate at Sanalejo while on a tour of the area, and we had a wonderful experience. We both had bowls of ajiaco, which was tasty and quite hearty, as well as juices from fruits native to Colombia which were also delicious. The decor was on really vibrant and colourful, which we found quite appealing. The staff was friendly and efficient too. All in all, a great dining experience.

Little Germany with a great German restaurant and live music on the weekends. We hired a taxi at about $12 an hour to drive us to Edelweiss . The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. The live music is on holidays, and Saturdays and Sundays from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Home crafted beer and excellent German food at a reasonable price make this an unforgettable experience. Colombia is buoyant with typical food restaurants, the most of them standard quality food and service, not bad, but nothing memorable. Jica, however, located in the nearby to Bogotá town of Cajicá, stands out among all other typical food restaurants. Having been awarded previously for its delicious bread, Jica also offers a broad Colombian food menu, live music, fast service and very nice atmosphere. Prices are OK, around US$ 13 per main dish. I ordered a chicken sancocho, a delicious and very well stuffed and very nicely served soup, my family ordered other dishes including chicken rice and tilapia fish, quite delicious and very well served too.

I agree with the other reviewers, the price is a bit steep for what you get. That being said, if you're looking for an american style breakfast or more typical Colombian fare you can find it here. If you're visiting with kids, try to get a table out back. There is a park the kids can hang out in while you order and wait for your meal. We've always found the food to be very good! It's a small town european feel out back and a great place for taking pictures. Don't miss the ice cream! Fresh and delicious!

En un municipio como Cajica, las opciones de comida son limitadas, encontramos este restaurante con auténtico diseño Mexicano, La comida muy rica, todo fresco y en el punto correcto. La atención excelente, el ambiente, pero sobre todo la comida.

Nice place outside the city, near Cajicá. A farm house turned into a restaurant.
Amazing burgers!!! Perfect size, great beef and fresh ingredients. They bake their own bread daily and get fresh vegetables from their own orchard.
They also have other dishes but the speciality is burgers.
I had the "Balú en crecimiento" a huge burger, double beef and lots of bacon. For dessert ask for the curuba dessert, with cookies and white chocolate. Amazing!!!
Very peaceful atmosphere surrounded by trees and flowers, they als have a goats and sheeps so it is a great place to go with family and kids.
Definitelly in my top place for burgers

Despues de leer los comentarios iba con ilusion de probar "las deliciosas" pizzas. La verdad , el sitio y la musica estaban bien.
La atencion no es muy buena, y el menu es pizzas y sopas, son unas pizzas grandes con un sabor distinto, no se me hicieron la gran cosa, pero si quieren probar algo distinto a las pizzas comerciales a las que estamos acostumbrados, es una buena opción.
Quizá no vuelva, pero no estuvo mala. Precios entre 18 y 22 por pizza personal.

Food has no discussion, is great in flavor, servings, variety... Good ambient, great for a sunny day to go with family or friends and even to take your pet with you. Being a great place you'll have to mind up yourself to spend some time doing a queue so you can order your food and then wait for it to be ready, nevertheless the wait is very well rewarded.

El restaurante queda en la vía principal de Cota, es un poco escondido y pienso que le falta más publicidad, tiene un parquearo amplio en la parte trasera del restaurante. Los mejor del restaurante es el ambiente, muy buena musica y la atención por parte de los propietarios, quienes se esfuerzan por hacerte sentir a gusto. La comida estuvo buena pero nada destacable.
