Imagine crisp french fries in a big bowl, topped with a layer of sliced medium rare steak, topped with creamy melted cheese sauce, topped with sauteed tender mushrooms, crispy bacon pieces and jalapenos. Amazing! But I will be eating salad for the next 3 days! Also the best iced tea I have had in a long time.

Typical Mexican restaurant in regards to menu, drinks, prices, etc. Had TVs in the dining area but table noise was atrocious; voices carried throughout. and anyone having a party certainly drowned out table talk for everyone else. But waitresses were pleasant, restaurant was clean, and meals reasonably priced.

I visit occasionally when business takes me that way. The staff understand that a chocoholic wants a CHOCOLATE ice cream base rather than vanilla. They make the blizzards upside-down thick! Yes! And the chicken strips come with the various sauces you can get everywhere (BBQ, honey mustard, etc), but also with White Gravy. Yum.

Nostalgia is a coffee shop with comfortable seating and great music. A perfect atmosphere for a visit with a close friend or colleague. Currently offering a selection beverages from coffee and tea to Italian sodas and blended drinks.
This place is great Alice and Dave Long are just super people with the best service around. They are very personable and will talk with you all day, if you would like. The coffee is "REAL SEATTLES BEST", not the stuff they say it is...MoreUpdate: Dave and Alice have sold the shop. My name is Ariel and I would like to think we still have the best Coffee. I look forward to serving you the best Idaho roasted coffee "Dawson Taylor Coffee."

Date night... we don't have many, so you want them to count.
We were seated. By the Barman pretty quickly. The server showed up in fairly short order for drinks. Then it all went wrong.
15 minutes later my husbands soda arrived. My coffee would take a while"it's the slowest coffee maker ever", and my wine would be over in a few minutes. I checked, the barman had a table of 12 he was serving... i was clearly going to be waiting more than a few minutes.
1/2 hour after we arrived, the server was back with my coffee and wine, and took our order.
Seared Ahi app and seared Ahi salad (hubbie likes tuna!) for him. Potato Skins and Shrimp Ceviche (the special) for me.
The bread board.... now this is some delicious bread, but so over baked as to be inedible. Gutting it worked... oh, and the butter like spread is served room temp, nice touch.
The "potato skins" were more like a sliced up baked potato with a little cheese, onions and a few sparse bacon bits. Soggy potato, over cooked cheese where the oil separated...I brought it home for my garbage gut brother to eat... see pic.
The tuna, you have to check out the pics. None of it tasted "fresh", you Ahi people know what I mean. The pieces on the salad looked right...red with a bit of sear. The app, supposedly made at the same time, was pale and over cooked. Hubbie said it tasted like can tuna. Most of the app was inedible silver skin. Again, pics to show.
The ceviche was pico de gallo with some chopped (smaller than the tomatoes) shrimp added. Oh, delicious avocado diced on top. No acid, no flavor beyond the minimal cilantro they added. While labeled as a dinner special, it was more if a mediocre app.
Now, I admit that I can be a harsh service critic. But to take 15 minutes to get beverages, 30 to take an order, and 55 minutes for dinner ti hit the table is beyond ridiculous.
Wait, perhaps they were screaming busy! Au contraire! Our server had 2 tables. You could hear her chatting up the kitchen staff at the semi open kitchen; clearly the cook wasn't focused on preparing meals.
If it had been my first visit, it would certainly have been my last. If I didn't know the family, at the 1/2 hr point we would have been out of there. The staff was unsupervised, and directionless. Someone needs to make sure the staff shares the same commitment to the customer as the owner.

On the way from Idaho Falls to Twin Falls we picked the Upper Crust for easy access off the highway. The restaurant is on the second floor over the Magic Valley Chalet that serves delicious ice cream. Lunch and then ice cream, life is good.
Ordered the Turkey Cranberry sandwich served on fresh bread. Lots of content and tasty, comes with fries, salad or slaw and a cookie. Second choice was the daily special Pulled Pork sandwich. Same choices for sides. The pork was tender and delicious. After lunch went downstairs (there is an elevator) for a fine ice cream cone. Friendly staff, washrooms clean, credit cards accepted,

Great, historical dining hall/bar, with good people and good food. We enjoyed the onion petals, and our meals of the Philly Steak Pita, Fish and Chips, Gyro, and Burgers. The service was attentive, and the decor amazing. We had a great chat with Gene, the former owner, and now part-time cook and fiddle players. Fries were great, the potato sticks not so much. Free wi-fi and soft drink refills, too. That bar made from an old Chrysler boat is just too kool! We liked the place..

I dream of the trout in this place when I'm out of state. First there's Heaven, then there's Idaho trout. And they don't skimp on portions--that slab stretches across your plate. The baked potatoes are wonderful. I ate on Friday, when the vegetable was green beans and the soup was Italian pasta or clam chowder. And a piece of cake. All for $10.

It was a little hard getting into with the parking lot construction but that will only be temporary. The food was good. The service was timely. I have no complaints with my breakfast. It is a nice clean place. We are so happy that you were patient with our construction. We are almost 100% completed. We do have a nice clean place with great food. We invite you back to dine with us again. Diane Newman General Manager

We picked up a definite Taco Time vibe at this restaurant, for those of you with Intermountain West experience. Fast food atmosphere, and small burritos and tacos. Salsa available in a squeeze bottle, and relatively bland foods if you skip the salsa. Moderate pricing, and friendly service.
