Delightful wine bar/tavern, as recommended by Lonely Planet. Ancient, atmospheric dining room. Serves wine, beer and simple meals, like the pea soup I enjoyed. Very friendly people - you won't have a nicer meal experience in Sopron.

This is a cute new place in my native city Sopron. The waitresses - I met two of them- are really talented in wine. The food is simple but delicious. I can recommend this place for everyone who would like to have some bites and rinse it with good wine.

Attractive modern café on the Várkerület, just outside Sopronâs historic heart. Spacious and comfortable. The coffee is good as was also the Apfelstrudel. They have an interesting-looking wider menu as well.

This café has several different rooms and all are decorated in a lovely, traditional Viennese style. It is a pleasure to sit there and enjoy a coffee. There is also a garden in the back where you can sit in clement weather. My acquaintance, who goes here regularly, had ice cream and said it is very good. I merely had a coffee, but it was very good and I enjoyed the experience. Our waitress was also very friendly.The only reason I have not awarded five stars is that smoking is allowed in one of the rooms, and although there is a glass door between the rooms, it was open when I was there and you could smell the smoke throughout the premises.
