Reviewed By Ivana HSpent Ladies Wellness weekend here with my friends. Its located in the middle of woods, cca 5 km from center of Karlovy Vary. Very quite and cool area during the hot Summer days. Rooms are very small with a basic furniture. Shower is part of the room separated by the glass ( someone can find this disturbing). Receptionists were very confused and stressed (probably by the huge numbers of guests during the weekend). Huge disappointment was the Wellness area. In 4 star Hotel I would expect the slippers and a bathrobe to be part of the stay. Not in this case. Bathrobe was to be borrowed for 100 czk, slippers to be bought for 30czk. (We found out this only during the check out when given the final bill) No information were given upon entry of wellness area, we did not know where to go or what to do - the whole stay was very confusing , asking for the information and direction all the times. Procedures were already given with no possibility to choose the times, so we were kind of stuck the whole morning waiting for them, unable to do the day trips because of this. Second huge let down was the dinning area. Dirty tables with no cutlery on the tables is not what you expect in this kind of hotel especially so soon after Pandemic. Staff was friendly, but apparently not copying with so many guests. I would not recommend this hotel, there are other wellness hotels with better service around this area.

Hotel St. Michael is located in Brezova, Karlovy Vary, near the Tepla River and numerous cycling and hiking routes. Relax in the hotel will allow you to enjoy the picturesque nature of the mountains, the variety of forest vegetation and the crystal-clear air of the Czech valleys. St. Michael offers 22 rooms of different categories, which offer a beautiful land view. The spacious rooms are equipped with all the things needed for a comfortable stay and are suitable for both family vacation and business travels.
decent stay
Reviewed By Tiana_TThe hotel is far away from Karlovy Vary in another town/ small village. The bus station is right in front of the hotel and bus going into the center takes about 15 minutes. You can buy tickets from the bus driver. Our double room overlooking the main street was spacious. Bathroom could use some TLC. Breakfast pretty basic. Staff is really friendly and helpful and the hotel bar/ restaurant where breakfast is also served has a nice welcoming feel. Restaurant was not open though, so we ate in a small restaurant recommended by the receptionist - Restaurace Podkova, about 10 minutes walk into the center of the village. That was a really good choice as the restaurant has great atmosphere, food and prices. All in all I would not stay again at this hotel since it is far from Karlovy Vary and there is not that much to do - after 10 o'clock the village looks deserted and the hotel bar closes quite early. For larger groups of friends/ family and if you go by car, I think this would be a good choice though.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, viel mehr als was man erwartet
Reviewed By UweK2810Lage: Mitten in einem kleinen Dorf zentral gelegen, sehr ruhig und gesunde Luft. Die Wälder und größere Ortschaften in der Umgebung sind gut zu erreichen. Sehenswürdigkeiten in Form einen Schlossruine und eine in der Rekonstruktion befindlichen sehr schönen Kirche, das Novum…diese Kirche wird von privater Hand instant gesetzt. Zimmer: Sehr saubere, zweckmäßig eingerichtete Zimmer. Betten sehr gut, das manchmalige leise knarren gehört dazu…und wenn man schläft…pfff, auch ein Kühlschrank mit bereitgestellten Getränken ist vorhanden…hat manche größere Einrichtung nicht aufzuweisen. Service: Sehr kompetentes, aufmerksames Personal, allen voran der Chef Igor, mit ihm kann man sich super auch in deutsch verständigen, ist manchmal lustig wenn beide Seiten nach Worten in der anderen Landessprache suchen!!! Frühstück ist alles vorhanden, liebevoll hergerichtet. Kaffee sehr gut. Auf Nahrungsmittelunverträglichkeiten (Laktoseintoleranz) wird umfassend reagiert. Und die Küchenfee ist der Hammer, was die so an sehr schmackhaften Gerichten am Abend zaubert, einfach genial. Danke noch mal. Kommunikation: WLAN sehr gute, stabile Bandbreite.

Reviewed By Xavier2424La pension Havaj est bon marché, les prestations sont cependant basiques mais acceptables. Un petit bar-restaurant à une centaine de mètres vous offrira aussi un repas à prix modique et dans une ambiance agréable.
