Terrasse, die praktisch in den Baumwipfeln liegt, wunderbar schattig. Freundlicher, schneller Service. Geträke und Gerichte sind schnell serviert. Die Pfifferlingssuppe etwas schwach im Geschmack, das Dorschfilet etwas zu ölig geraten. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt dennoch sehr genossen.

Neben der Möglichkeit in einem Holzzuber ein gesundes Bierbad im Hotel zu probieren, bietet das Restaurant eine Reihe von Gerichten mit Fisch und Wild sowie Geflügel aus der Region (Schlaubetal) an. Ordentliche Portionen zu ehrlichen Preisen. Besonders zu empfehlen ist der Schlaubetalteller.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel, so the restaurant was a convenient choice for dinner. My husband ordered chicken stuffed with feta and spinach on a bed of tomatoes. I ordered beef cooked in a chili-butter-gravy with a side salad and ciabatta bread. My husband's meal was decent, but mine was really tasty! The sauce and the bread especially were really, really nice. Be sure to order the local beer (brewed right across the street) and, if it's warm enough, sit outside on the terrace. It was too cold for us, but we enjoyed the cloister and the pond during the day, so I can only imagine it's gorgeous at night! The service is good. If in Neuzelle or nearby, it's worth it. Otherwise, hunt down the best restaurant near you - finding a place to eat is always an adventure.

We stopped into this restaurant for lunch based on its rating on TripAdvisor. Thank you, everyone! You nailed it!The restaurant is really nicely appointed and the proprietors are very gracious and welcoming. I don't think they have an English menu, so if you don't speak at least a little bit of German, ordering may be a challenge for you.My husband ordered the schnitzel with cream and mushroom sauce (it didn't say this on the menu, but in other places, we've seen this called "jager artz.") We've had a lot of schnitzels in the last year, but my husband said this one was his favorite. He let me have a couple bites and it certainly was delicious. The mushrooms in particular were really buttery.I ordered the breaded coconut chicken with pineapple and rice. The description doesn't do it justice. The coconut breading was really, really well done - the chicken wasn't the least bit dry and the coconut wasn't too strong while the breading was nice and crisp. The rice was soaked in pineapple juice and there were more pineapple chunks on top of the chicken. A little salad with balsamic dressing and a round slice of pineapple arranged like a sail atop it all completed the plate. The pineapple cut the coconut just enough so that neither flavor was too strong. And the pineapple puree soaking into the rice was deliciously warm - my mouth is watering right now just thinking of it!We didn't expect to find a meal like this in Eisenhuttenstadt, so this was a really, really wonderful surprise. Keep up the good work, Aktivisit!
