Das Theodors ist neu. Das Restaurant des erst im Juni eröffneten Fontane Hotels in Altenhof wird richtig gut. Im Moment ist der Laden noch ein wenig dabei, sich einzuspielen.Doch hier sind Profis am Werk, die wissen, wie Service geht, die ein Auge für Gestaltung haben und sich (clever!) auf gutes Rindfleisch statt auf Fisch spezialisiert haben. Die Terrasse des Restaurants liegt malerisch am kleinen Fontane Platz und bietet freien Blick auf den herrlichen Werbellinsee. Stark.

Just a one night stop off at this amazing hotel, my husband has stayed before and really enjoyed it. We had the Winkel suite which overlooks the lake, amazing view. The suite was huge, very clean and modern with a touch of old style fixtures. So quiet and tranquil, no noise at all. We had a fantastic breakfast, smoked salmon, fresh cold cuts, cheeses, fruit, bread, coffee and juices. I personally would have liked to have something sweet for breakfast but all the same I really enjoyed. The staff are lovely, friendly and discreet. We woke up at 6 .30 to a beautiful sunrise and then it started snowing and the view was even better. We will be staying again.

Das Bio-Bistro Lindenblatt befindet sich im historischen Bahnhof in Chorin, der auch der reguläre Bahnhof ist.Bei meinem Besuch im Oktober war das Bistro praktisch leer und ich bestellte einen Espresso. Die Bestellung wurde sehr freundlich entgegengenommen, aber der Espresso war dennoch ein echte Zumutung - bitter und ohne jegliche Crema. Besonders irrititiert hat mich der Umstand, dass auch Gäste des Bistros ⬠0,50 Toilettengebühr entrichten müssen - das kannte ich bisher nicht...Auf einen weiteren Besuch dieses Bistros werde ich verzichten.
