Náchod is located in the valley of the river Metuje, in an upland area between the mountain ranges of Krkonoše and Orlické hory. It is the seat of a district court, the office of district prosecuting attorney and a number of district chapters of other government agencies, several primary and secondary level schools, a hospital and other social facilities. Sights include a magnificent castle and other places in and around the town (Nové Město nad Metují, Ratibořice, Kuks, Trutnov, Broumov). The area offers a variety of natural sights and opportunities for outdoor activities (hiking, cycling, skiing, rock climbing in sandstone formations).

NavÅ¡tÃvili jsme tuto restauraci již nÄkolikrát, jÃdlo bylo vždy velmi chutné, jedná se spÃÅ¡e o dražšà restauraci, ale krásné prostÅedÃ, pÅÃjemná obsluha a jÃdlo to vyvážÃ.

Byli jsme zde s rodinou po prohlÃdce zámku, že si dáme kafe a nÄjaký dobrý zákusek. Ceny zákusků jsou na tak menÅ¡Ã mÄsto docela vysoké 60-80KÄ ale chuÅ¥ovÄ za tu cenu rozhodne nestojÃ. Zmrzlina se Å¡lehaÄkou za 70,- to ne taky docela dost. Jediné co oceÅuji je dobrá Å¡lehaÄku jinak nenà nic moc k pochvále. Sem se už rozhodnÄ znovu nepodÃváme ...
