Reviewed By inezborysiewiczA very nice hotel. Surrounded by a wonderful garden. Delicious food, great pools, nice staff. Room cleaned daily. The hotel beach is poor, but a bit further it is public with sand and you can relax there. I recommend the Turkish baths and massages. I went with a terrible back pain, came back full of strength. It is worth going to the hammam immediately upon arrival to get a nice tan afterwards. There are animations, but I wasn't interested. In a year I will fly there again. For those who complain, I recommend 5 * hotels at the right price.

The English speaking receptionist went out of his way to help us when my husband was ill for a few days even going to the pharmacy for us to get him some medication and delivering it to our room, so thank you very much to him. The amazing staff in the bar and restaurant, to Adam (Mr Whatever) Ahmed and all the hard working men who go out of their way to accommodate everyone, I really don't know how they work such long hours and still be back the next day with a smile on their faces!! The nightly entertainment is first class but a special mention to the two guys who sing/drum on Mon/Wed/Fridays, they are outstanding and well worth staying the whole evening to listen to. I would have given this review 5 stars but for a few drawbacks 1) Our room was small, dark and dingy and as my husband had to spend a few days in the room I couldnt even sit out on the poor excuse for a balcony due to a very large birds nest above the door meaning every time I went to open it for some fresh air the birds would dive bomb into the bedroom, horrible!!! 2) The steps leading down to the outside toilets are very steep and become wet throughout the day making it very dangerous for people with walking problems, also at night the area can be very intimidating for a woman because the toilets go down underneath the hotel which is very dark and the lighting only comes on by your movement as you pass them which is actually very creepy!!!! Other than that after my husband felt better we had a lovely few days and will definitely return later this year

Bitez is the prettiest place in the Bodrum Peninsula. It is fortunate to have a constant cooling breeze and low humidity which makes your stay more comfortable and the heat more bearable! The local population of 3000 people live mostly in the town centre which is approximately 800 m from the beach and the Local Council has determined to provide the beach-front area with all the necessities that tourists could desire:

You can hear the music at all areas of the hotel—your room, the beach, the pool, etc. One of the front desk staff was not pleasant or helpful. The rooms were worse than pictured online. Very misleading. Stay away if you want a relaxing vacation!

Reviewed By londonkay123456I wanted time off from tech, work, family, people. life!....so my phone was in the safe the moment I got there! They arranged a pick up from the airport for 25e and I kept in contact with them via a what ap number which was super helpful. They also communicated with me via e-mail as soon as my booking was confirmed via agoda. Due to it being out of season (mid april), the place was so quiet. The weather was hit and miss so I just chilled with a book in my apartment or by the pool with a cardigan on or went for a local coffee / walk. The staff were so lovely esp the breakfast staff, what a great way to start the day. The breakfast is a mixture of small things like honey, cheese, bread, a boiled egg, chocolate spread, olives which is a nice change to a full English or fatty croissant! There was a limited menu (out of season) which can be paid at the end of your stay by signing as you would in a hotel. One evening I had the fish which was fresh and served with a delicious potato salad. There are lots of restaurants on the beach front which is a few minutes walk away. I personally liked the basic cafe where the locals go which was at the end by the boats. The meatballs and coffee were fab. My apartment was so clean, new and had everything I wanted, esp as I stayed in a lot; a kettle, hob, fridge, freezer. You may want to bring tea bags, sugar etc to save you a trip to the supermarket. After three days housekeeping comes which is nice and an extra nice touch is that you get a new glass bottle of water delivered to your door every day. There’s a good sized balcony where you can hear a few times a day a very loud speaker where prayers are played. Cats will come in via the balcony so if you don’t like cats this part of turkey is not for you, they are everywhere and very persistent as are the dogs on the beach. Fortunately no one is cruel to them or think to shoo them away from you unless you ask when you are eating. I was happy with the out of season price of the accommodation even if it wasn't sunny as I just wanted a break, peace and calm. Nightlife and shops are just a taxi and bus ride away I heard they were both great. I would highly recommend the Dorman suites. It is a clean, tidy, safe and beautiful place. One word of disappointment which is nothing to do with this hotel, re excursions / day trips. I went to a bigger hotel down the road to have a massage which was lovely. When I was booking, a lovely man named Bullent was sitting nearby booking people on day trips. I booked the lunch and boat trip for 8000L about £50. I thought that was an ok deal as it included lunch. I was really looking forward to this as it was the one thing I chose to do due to having great memories of a boat trip in Ölüdeniz about 20 years ago!...where we stopped off and the crew sparked up a bar b q, cooking delicious fresh chicken and fish with lots of salads with drinks flowing. Well this experience was really lovely in that the boat and the crew were so sweet but the food was a MASSIVE disappointment. The salads were tasty but there were only two and the chicken was a fried, reconstructed meat, piece of cardboard (think, a cheap large chicken nugget). I specifically asked the man when booking if I could have fish and he said no ‘ there is chicken and salad and unlimited drinks’. So I felt a bit duped as he really sold me on the lunch. I put this aside as the rest of the trip was really nice and the crew were super sweet. Me and the women I was with were famished when we got back and ordered a big dinner!

We provide all inclusive services; breakfast, lunch and dinner and apart from that we also serve snacks all day long. With its mini soccer, tennis, volleyball, table tennis and dart facilities our Hotel is also preferred by our guests who wish to exercise sports. Bitez Bay is one of the most tranquil regions in Bodrum and is very convenient for water sports because of the ideal wind.

Reviewed By joyced344Had a very easy arrival at the hotel, check in was easy and the reception staff were very kind and helpful. As I have mobility problems we had a ground floor room with plenty of storage space, decent size bathroom and a comfy bed, what more did we need! We had a stroll round the hotel found the bar so a drink was ordered. It was a nice and relaxing area but the central courtyard was my favourite. My only problem was the food I lived on soup mainly whilst there. I appreciate that Turkish tourism has been affected by Covid 19 and the lack of travellers from the UK, it has mainly survived due to Russian, Dutch and other eastern european tourists. Every morning we had the usual boiled eggs, salad and fruit with the occasional french toast included. Lunch was soup, pasta and sauce, 2 casseroles one having burgers and the other sausage. The sweets were fantastic and plenty of choice. The restaurant staff were fantastic, nothing too much trouble for them to help you. We were disappointed with the drinks package as we were all inclusive but it was not fair to give large measures of drinks to other tourists and not to Brits. The wine tasted watered down but that must be hotel policy. Overall we had a brilliant holiday, treated like royalty by hotel staff and met some lovely people. This is my own opinion and we would go back as long as the food improves. Thank you Natur Gardens, have a very profitable 2022 season.

Chilled vacation in a beautiful boutique hotel - adults only
Reviewed By Marianna PThis hotel is an absolute gem. We were looking for a quiet location for relaxing holidays near a beach, and we got all this and more! Okaliptus occupies a large plot on which several two-storey buildings are situated among eucalyptus and banana trees, which gives it an exotic feel and provides much needed shade. It has a small pool, private beach, public restaurant a la carte. No all-inclusive is available, which we considered a big plus since all the guests were well-behaved ;) All rooms have large balconies which is perfect for hanging up beach towels and swim suits to dry ;) our room also had a very basic kitchenette with a fridge and a sink - again, this came very handy. The room was spacious, equipped with free AC and cleaned every day. There was a slight stale smell coming either from the AC, or the adjacent bathroom, but it didn't bother us too much as we know lots of places struggle with that. Thankfully there were no bugs or other worse things. What we loved: food, and the staff!!!! Breakfasts were the same every day, but there was a variety of delicious foods to choose from. Hard boiled eggs, omelette/scrambled eggs, hot buns filled with cheese or olives, regular bread, jams, honey, chocolate spreads, real butter, different kinds of cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, delicious black olives etc. Free Turkish tea was served in beautiful glasses and there was coffee (only instant though which was a disappointment) and some fruit drinks which I daren't call juice. Dinners exceeded our expectations - every day there were different hot dishes available (one soup, a meat stew - usually beef with veggies, rice or other grains, fish or another main) and at least a dozen of cold dishes to choose from (every day the same stuff) - spicy carrots, spicy couscous, grilled aubergines with bell peppers, squash, baba ganoush, different green salads, spinach, tzatziki. And for dessert - again a variety of cakes, Turkish pastries, and creams such as crème brule, profiteroles, rice puddings etc. Another nice surprise - Turkish tea was served free after dinner, probably because the hotel hosted many Turkish guests. The staff was amazingly friendly but not obnoxious. It's true that most of them didn't speak English, or only very basic, but their cordiality and efforts really warmed our hearts! Sunbeds, hammocks and cushions on the beach are free for the hotel guests - another nice surprise. Beach is mainly coarse sand and pebbles, but the hotel provided foam rugs going deep into the water, so no water shoes are needed. There was chillout music played by the pool and on the beach from morning until about 2pm, and a bit stronger music in the afternoons until dinner time. For us, it was a bit too loud, but others seemed to enjoy it. At dinner there was beautiful movie soundtrack type of music played. As for the area, there are dolmush buses (cheap public transportation) available for those who want to get to Gumbet or Bodrum (Bodrum is worth a visit). We recommend buying trips from the local vendor on the beach promenade, to the right from Okaliptus - Berna offers good price for bus trips to Dalyan tombs and Iztuzu beach (30EUR) as well as chilled boat trips along the Aegean coast (20EUR). Due to hot weather we skipped Pamukkale and Ephesus as they would be too strenuous, but we definitely want to come back in spring time and see those two places! There were no entertainment programs, and the hotel is not really suited for families with kids, which again, is great if you want to go on a relaxing or even romantic holiday for adults :)

As others have mentioned, the rooms were basic, but who goes on holiday to spend all your time in your rooms? They were clean, the shower was hot, the beds were comfy and bedding and towels were changed regularly - what more could you ask for? We were self-catering (I believe they now only do all-inclusive) so can't comment on the food. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. And the pool was definitely the best of all the hotels in the vicinity (I know, because I was looking over their walls and gates to compare them!) Would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to go back.
